So far this seems like a great purchase. It has solved a lot of our streaming/buffering issues. I did have some troubles with set-up, but that was due to an issue with Charter.

Works awesome. Covers my whole house as my router before I couldn't get wifi in my bed room.

I purchased this wireless router to replace an older Cisco SMB wireless N firewall which I had hung onto because it somehow was able to get a decent signal throughout my home despite there being something like 12 neighboring networks. That old device was only 2.4 Ghz and previous attempts to upgrade it were met with disappointment since other devices were faster but they couldn't get adequate coverage. In a last ditch effort before buying a much more expensive Netgear system I found that the Nighthawk x4s finally was able to not only get coverage using the 2.4 Ghz radio, but the 5 Ghz as well. I didn't think I would be able to find a single AP system that could reach from the basement to the second floor using 5 Ghz but this one definitely does and it maintains most of the signal as well. I'm not crazy about the look of the thing and it is kinda bulky but it is stashed out of the way and it works incredibly well.

Between my house's consoles, television, laptops, cell phones and everything else, I've had problems choosing a good router, but this one has been great so far. I haven't had to really mess around with QoL settings for gaming thusfar, but the range has been great and covers two floors very well without any droppage or lag.

My NETGEAR - Nighthawk X4S Wireless-AC Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router was easy to set up and was working in just a few minuets.

I bought this to be super fast, which it is, but it is limited by whatever the maximum speed is from your cable/internet provider. When will Gig speeds make their way to more locations?!?!

I have owned a lot of routers over the years & this is the best by far! The last was a Linksys EA6900 there is no comparison !!!!!!!

awesome router for streaming and gaming the built in channeling is great for prioritizes your devices so that whatever needs the most speed gets it. ex. if your are streaming a show on Netflix and playing are your phone your streaming device gets the speed it needs and your phone isn't getting that same amount of speed

My second one didn't work out of the box so we had to replace it. The fact that multiple Wi-Fi sources can be working at the same time with no interruptions in signal or service means I am getting the biggest bang for my dollar when I am using my hi speed service provider. I can be using my computer while another in the house is using a computer and we can stream movies with no hesitation or buffering issues.

Was very easy to setup hangs nicely on the wall. Best wireless router I ever used.

With the router we were able to play games, internet, laptop, use of two computers and 3 TV's. Great product.

very fast, easy to set up, and I can "feel" the quicker pings compared to my previous routers (always get the gamer ones). PS4 and Desktop are wired.. TV, phone, tablet, and printer all wireless. Works like a charm! Even looks cool, no complaints at all. My phone is on Project Fi and it doesn't lose my home wireless until I am a couple of streets away, almost out of the neighborhood!
