I found it difficult to determine which router to purchase given all of the options. I needed to upgrade given the large number of devices in my home and its square feet. I decided to purchase this one instead of the 1900. It was a very easy install, and my coverage and capacity has improved. Overall, a good buy.

Bought this to replace an older router that kept bumping devices off. Decided to spend a little more money, but well worth it. We are a family of 6 with lots of things that need to connect to the wifi. Between computers, printers, cell phones, tablets, tvs, Bluray players, chrome cast, firestick, google home, etc. Never have had to reset or have anything get bumped off. Was easy to set up.

needed to upgrade wifi in the home due to an increase in handheld devices for kids, wife, etc. Our old Netgear s300 wasn't cutting it. This looked like a good option. Got it on sale I think. Has been pretty smooth at this point. With a good size two story home, haven't seen any issues. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great router. I went from a combination router/modem from my internet provider to this router and a separate modem... and I couldn't be happier! Range is better, speed is better and there are separate channels so that you can have a dedicated one for certain applications... or for yourself

I was having trouble with both range and reliability on my previous router. I tried using an extender and that improved range but caused even more problems with reliability. After switching to the Blackhawk X4S, my home network is operating far more reliably. I am very satisfied with this product.

This Nighthawk X4S router was easy to setup write out of the box. Hooked it up and it walked me though the setup and it even updated the firmware. All of my devices recognized the router. Have my iPhones, iPads and Smart TV using the 5G. I am now getting the download and upload speeds I am paying for.

I use multiple items consistently on wifi this router has kept speeds fast with no delay or lag !

Our old router needed to be replaced. My son is going to go to college and we needed a faster more reliable router. My son suggested Netgear. We had 3 choices of Netgear to choose from, but the customer service representative suggested this one since we have A T&T as our internet provider. Very easy to set up and is it fast. My 18 year old set it all up in no time.you get what you pay for!

This router was very easy to instsall, SUPER user friendly. It corrected any problems on it's own. It is SMART...I would definitely recommend it.

Easy to install and setup. Guest access does not log guests off according to setttings, which you should be able set time limit for guest access. Called customer service multiple times and they could get to work either. Not important function for me so decideyto overlook. Parental controls should be improved to to set time on off for specific devices from their netgear genie.

I originally bought an equivalent model from that "Link" company because it happened to be on sale the week I went in to Best Buy. However, at my house we have 2 Xbox gaming consoles and multiple iOS and Android devices as well as a couple of smart TVs. Things were working 'mostly OK' until we tried to troubleshoot a performance issue we were having when running both Xbox consoles at once. Everything on the internet says that brand isn't very configurable for dual consoles and we found that as soon as we tried to do anything other than the default settings, everyone's access came to a slow crawl. After a couple weeks of troubleshooting we gave up and returned it. Then we bought the Nighthawk X4S. After setting up the hardware and just using the default settings we saw instant improvement. Everyone's access was much faster and we were already having way fewer performance issues during online gaming. Configuration was a breeze and the mobile app is great.

Great router that added range to my office. We can now get WiFi in places we never had before. The set up was very easy. Netgear is the best!

It really allows you to connect to a lot of devices and still have great and fast connection

We were looking to upgrade our wifi because of having issues with buffering when gaming or watching Netflix. This unit replaced a basic Netgear N600. What a difference! Connections are reliable and extremely fast. If you have multiple devices, I would highly recommend this product.

The Nighthawk X4S has been a solid performer so far and was very easy to setup. It works well with Comcast 200/10 service and the wireless speed is constant even with several devices and 2 desktops running at the same time. So far, it has not dropped any connection or rebooted.

I am truly satisfied with this router would recommend it to fellow gamers and streamers.

The salesman recommended this product to extend our wireless signal to the far end of our house. The Nighthawk solved our problem of a low wireless signal in the areas of our home furthest from our router, allowing us to use laptops or tablets regardless of which room we were in.
