This was recommended to me by a sales rep who knew what they were talking about. Has done a good job of managing bandwidth for all my devices. I live in a townhome with the above ground basement and the signal actually doesn't have a problem getting to the basement. The only thing that irritated me until i change the settings are the lights on the device are bright as heck when you're trying to go back to sleep.

I have a lot of electronics hooked up to it. I have 7 hard wired and about 10-12 wireless running on it without any complaints. I have every game system x2 running on it and it has had no lag that is noticeable throughout my home. I used to need an extender to reach our master bedroom, but no longer need to use it with this router!

I bought this router after reading hundreds of reviews on dozens of different routers. THE NIGHTHAWK IS LEGIT! Easy to install and replaced my sketchy Brighthouse router. My wireless speed stays steady around 109mbps (our plan speeds are supposed to cap at 100mbps). Those speeds are with 6 phones, ps3, xbox one, wii u, 2 laptops and a desktop all connected at once. I will be buying a 2nd one for my office soon.

Very fast, capable router. Does the trick for gaming when I couldn't hardwire.

I thought I would upgrade to the Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri-band. BIG mistake. I have multiple xboxes and ps4's online at the same time and never got open NAT on more than one console at a time. This router the AC4S says right on the box "Advanced streaming and GAMING". Turn on UPnP and automatically all consoles open NAT! all the time. GREAT for GAMERS period.

I made the mistake of purchasing another brand router instead of a Netgear router. The other router was awful, so luckily Best Buy took it back and this Netgear router works great. I have not had one single problem with it since I bought it a little over a month ago. I never have to worry about not connecting or losing my internet connection with this router.

This is a great upgrade, now speed and coverage has been increase in my house.

My first Netgear router after being a loyal Cisco Linksys customer with my first two routers. Nothing against Linksys, but options in the current availability of routers led me to the Netgear Nighthawk X4S AC2600 as the best bang for the buck. Everything I hoped for and more. It was even easy to connect my 12 year old laser printer to the home network. Would buy it again.

I really like the easy of set up and the form factor is good. Its a little on the larger side for a router, but it looks good and you can control the brightness of the LEDs which is a nice feature. I have a fractional T-1 line and when on the wifi network I get great speeds both down and up load on Ookla. But something is going on that its not totally translating to streaming content which can at times be a little laggy. If I can sort this out, I'd gladly give it 5 stars
