After hemming and hawing about upgrading my router I could not be more pleased! My home like many others these days houses many streaming devices and I was looking for something with continual speed and a solid connection. This router powers 2 phones, 2 smart TV's, an iPad, kindle and gaming system. I have not had one interuption and all devices work wonderfully.

We switched from our comcast modem to this and it works wonderfully. Paired with the Netgear CM1000, internet runs at 208 mbps wireless.

we purchased a google nest system, it didn't meet our needs. our geeksquad advisor suggested the Netgear router. it works like a charm.

A Best Buy associate helped me pick the best for price router and with a desktop, gaming laptop,2-3 cell phones, Nest thermostat, Alexa and firestick all running wireless through the router with my security cameras, UVerse and a gaming PC running wired through the router it handles everything flawlessly and the program that lets you maintain it is good too.

I hooked this up to surfboard modem to increase my range due to previously having a combo unit. The difference was solid right off the bat. The only thing I wish it allowed me to do was choose the 2.4 or 5g network band while on WPS but it only allows you to hook to the 2.4 unless you do it manually. Very dependable! Able to boost the signal clearly to all my devices seemlessly in my household without any slowdowns or interruptions.

Set up was not to difficult, but this model required a BIOS update immediately to fix a bad vulnerability. I was buying to upgrade an old Cisco router but not seeing too much benefit yet as most of my devices are 802.11 c. Parental Controls are managed through OpenDNS an open source project and configuration was clunky and not intuitive. Options seem pretty thin. I wanted to shut down internet for a handful of devices at 11 pm but couldn't get it to work.

I have never used Netgear before and was skeptical to change brands. I replaced the Xfinity modem/router with this unit and the difference was night and day. This thing is fast and easy to set up and use. I have had it running for about a week and no issues and blazing fast wifi connections. Very impressed and will definitely buy the Netgear brand again.

After trying another router, that didn't give us the coverage we needed we researched Netgear Nighthawk, Very happy to say it gives us all the coverage we wanted, shop, house, and even out in the camper about 100 feet from the source. We are usually home at the same time, and this router keeps us going. Would and have recommended this product.

This product helped with my streaming issues. The only negative is that when I loose power or have a surge I have to do a complete power cycle on the router. Otherwise freatmproduct.

So far this router has performed great and provides good coverage for a normal sized house. It hasn't had any reboots and continues to perform well with full speed on Comcast 200/10 service with 4 devices. It is easy to set up and while not providing a great many options, it will be sufficient for most users without being overly complicated.

Had no problems with this router. Was easy to setup and had support software you can download. Had it running in half hour time

Easy install, great range and fast wifi. Everything you need!

I wanted to upgrade my current router to get the range I was lacking from my old router w/o using a Wi-Fi extender. I have the router placed in the upper lever of a 2 story home. The signal reaches all the way to the basement level and outside through the steel siding. I gave it 4 stars because I've had to reboot the router 1 time since installing it 7 weeks ago. Overall, I highly recommend this router especially for i's range and speed.

Replaced an old netgear router had great results with it and expect the same from this one. So far have been very pleased.
