If you already have an Orbi router and satellite and need better coverage, this will be a good addition. Easy to install. It does take a few hours for close devices to be picked up but eventually they will.

I purchased the Orbi network back when they first came out. I wanted to see how well a mesh network would work. I liked the idea of having only one network name since I always had a second access point in the house to cover most of the house. I was impressed with the network but always wanted to get a second satellite for the back of the house to cover the garage. Finally, I had a need to get one. I took it out of the box and plugged it in. It took about 10 minutes to quit flashing. I then pressed the sync button on the new satellite and the router, waited for about 10 minutes, then checked the internal Orbi router page. While I was watching it, the backhaul fell off on the new satellite, then came back after about a minute. It has been rock solid ever since. I chose the Orbi system because of its specs. It beat out Google and Linksys mesh systems with a better backhaul for the money. This system delivers with all my devices connected and has not failed me yet. Adding a new satellite later was a breeze. You will not go wrong with this system

We set up the Orbi mesh system in our residence, and needed an extra unit for an office in a detached unit about 100 feet from the residence. The extra Orbi irks great and extends internet into the detached office.

I researched this product extensively. If you plan to increase your WiFi usage around the house, the Orbi system is the best you can buy. You get what you pay for, and in this case, it is absolutely true. Don't try to cheap out when it comes to setting up your WiFi system. Just get it!!

We upgraded our whole house WiFi from the standard issue modem/router provided by Fios to the Orbi AC3000 with (1) satellite. We have noticed an instant difference in coverage and speed in our 4000 sqft home.

Nothing more to say about this brand. You will have to buy in order to experience the difference between this and other brands of extenders. Would highly recommend this to everyone, but the only downfall is that it is pricey....

Orbi routers coupled with the satellites that come along with them provide our family with the WiFi coverage we need throughout all parts of the home. Coverage never lags and the ability to parse our devices on 2.4ghz vs 5 ghz bands is amazing

The NETGEAR Orbi range extender was easy to add onto my existing Orbi Tri-band WiFi system. Now I have better connectivity on all the floors of my home. 1 router and 5 extenders allows 20+ devices to all connect smoothly.

added one more orbi to my system for better wifi, it helps to put it in the right place however. Closer to a brick wall and windows wasn't the answer but moved it to the next room, works like a dream

Very handy extension of the home internet. With more people in the household working/schooling from home, we bought this one to add to our existing Orbi setup, and works like a charm with no issues.

I purchased the AC3000 kit and needed ethernet ports in an area of my apartment which there wasn't one. Installation was a breeze and was updated and connected to network in about 10 minutes.

Purchased with Netgear’s Arlo...overall happy with both...problem I had is with Netgear’s tech support on Orbi. After ninety days Netgear’s tech support will not talk to you unless you pay them $79.99 for a warranty package. After 4 months I had a defective Orbi router and two extenders (not cheap)...the router went bad...I called Netgear and they argued with me over paying $79.99. I had to yell at the CSR and asked to speak with her manager. I did get a new replacement router. I found this odd because Netgear’s Arlo tech support is free for life of the product...LESSON: get Best Buy’s extended warranty...I’ve never had a problem with Best Buy’s extended warranties.

Best WiFi product I've ever owned. I have three of them for my larger property and there are no issues with signals at all.

I have the original router/modem w/satellite but needed the range for the back house. Added this puppy and now we are all covered

I’ve been through a half dozen repeaters and “gaming” routers and none have provided the coverage, hand-offs, and load balancing for my 8,000 sq ft home as has this system. I purchased the 3 pack from Costco because it was much cheaper than anywhere else, and added this satellite to that network. I’ll likely add a 4th satellite to ensure 100% 5Ghz coverage, but aside from that, flawless. I’d love the software to be a bit more in depth in traffic and QOS per device.

Very easy to set up. App guides you through every step. Provides great coverage throughout my home. Easy to pull up details on current status in the app. Can log in via web page for more detailed/legacy view of the router.

Helps me get internet in areas of my home I could never get. Had it set up in 10 min as this was an add on to original router and satellite

after renovations needed more coverage. Router and satellite repositioned during renovations and additional satellite gave us far more even coverage throughout the house

We’d lost a satellite to an overly playful cat, and needed to replace it. This one arrived quickly, and set up was a breeze through the Orbi app. A must for homes with a larger footprint.

I had one dead spot in our house. I attached this to my current orbi ac 3000 system and that was eliminated. Easy to install, gives great coverage. A little pricey at the regular price so try to catch it on sale.
