This is an inexpensive way to add a satellite to your existing ORBI mesh Wi-Fi network. The voice controlled speaker is a bonus and sounds good. Setup was a mess and I spent an hour on the phone with Netgear. I learned that you can only have ONE of these on your network.

Easy to install and has a delivered a great connection and sound.

Extender seemed to work okay wirelessly with our existing Orbi system, but had major issues with the wired backhaul that the rest of the satellites use due to distance throughout the house. It appears the voice functionality software version hasn't caught up to the rest of the Orbi family (or we just got a bad unit). We ended up returning and purchasing an extender without voice functionality that worked flawlessly.

This works very well but is not easy to get set up, needs time and patience.

This was one of the most frustrating purchases I've ever made. The whole point of the Orbi system is that you can quickly and easily grow your wifi network by adding new mesh satellites. That was not the case at all and this became a giant headache. I'm very tech savvy and for the life of me I could not get this to sync and add to my existing Orbi network, I tried everything over the course of multiple hours. The satellite would show it synced with my router, as evident by the color the LED light changed to, however Netgear's garbage app still could not add their own satellite to my network. Check out some of the other reviews, you'll see similar issues. I returned this thing after trying everything to get it to work. Ended up going with the new Nest wifi system and it was a night and day difference, the set up was incredibly fast and easy compared to the Orbi. Take it from me, save yourself the frustration and avoid this product. I won't be buying another Netgear product anytime soon, this experience really soured me. To their credit Best Buy returned this without issue and the process was simple, even under current COVID restrictions. Thanks Best Buy for righting Netgear's wrong!

Does its thing. Works with the Orbi I have had. The sound is okay and the Alexa is not super. Just get an Echo as it will be better.

Sadly I purchased an Orbi system a year ago and this voice satellite today. Thought they would have figured out how to make the setup easy by now - they didn’t. It seems to work well once up and running though. Poor rating for the lack of multi-room Alexa on the speaker. Even the Dots have this capability at the fraction of the cost.

This is the best for its price. We use as wifi extender and the speaker is awesome. Pure sound better than any google home or alexa..but this one has the Alexa feature too.

I love that I have two separate networks in my home. So I have some of my stuff on one wifi and the rest on the orbi. The coverage in my home is complete

This is the 4th unit i've installed in my home to get better internet coverage. Easy to setup and install.

Great addition to our MESH network...We added this to our current Orbi MESH network to increase our coverage...Fits seamlessly!.....

One of our old satellites went out and we got this as a replacement. Works incredible. The added Alexa is a huge bonus

I have 5 Orbis and I can say it the best WIFI system. Some connectivity issues but overall worth it.

Connected like a breeze to my N7000 Nighthawk Wifi router !! No need for manuals ! Amazingly easy setup via the Nighthawk app on my smartphone ! Wifi range and speeds are awesome ! The Alexa contolled speaker is wonderful ! Cant beat Harman Kardon Quality ! Love it !

Works great with my existing Orbi system. I needed 1 more range extender. After shopping around, I found that one with a great speaker is actually less expensive than one without. Really a win-win in my point of view.

Terrible product. Took forever to integrate. After I got that far it was ok. Then randomly I got the red light and I have not been able to get it working again. I have spent hours trying to reset the router or reset my network. Still doesn’t work. Waste of money. Buy something else!

but can’t pair with Alexas Group or multi room group Settings.
