The Best Buy consultant recommended this gizmo as a means of assuring uninterrupted streaming of television content from the router located in another room. It did the trick at a modest price.

I needed to connect my non wifi tv to the internet. Its an older model. Used the power line to produce the ethernet cabling. Works as advertised. Now my smart TV can provide all the functions I need ed it to.

I paid to increase my internet speed from 15 Mbps to 45 Mbps but my WiFi router could not reach my son's room in the basement where he likes to game on his laptop. We bought this product and he now gets full speed in his room. We were very happy with the results.

Device is not hard to install and once it is plugged in to both the router and my computer it started working well after I followed the simple instructions it came with. No problems so far.

Hard for me to actually rate this...one best buy associate recommended and one didn't, said it wouldn't help us, so we returned them.

The product took no time to setup and the only downside for me is with the wiring I have in my house and the room I needed it to plug into only puts out 40mb/s

Does what it needs to. Not sure if it's my Spectrum internet but I'm getting about 200 mbps on my laptop and about 50-60 mbps on my PS4.

Plug and play just that simple works great. I use it for commercial applications. I needed a uplink for a gate and plug it in a enclosure and boom.

Perfect item to get a hardwired connection from my router point to an upstairs bedroom. Easy installation and set up. No dropped connection so far.

I like to have certain things on a wired connection and this allows me to do that without running extra long Ethernet cables around the house. It's just like using a direct port on the modem. I've noticed to lag like a WiFi repeater.

Just make sure the adapters are on the same circuit. If they aren't, there will be a lag spike every 2-5 minuets. Other than it, it's great

I needed to get faster Internet speeds on my Playstation, but I couldn't connect an ethernet cable to it because my router was all the way downstairs. So I bought this adapter and it seriously works great!

we stream and have a sprawling ranch. I never hear my son complain his online gaming isn't working anymore. The router is in my room, the addition and his room is past the kitchen down the hall at the end. He plugs an Ethernet cord right in from the power line device.

I needed to add another network connection as usual netgear did disappoint. Working from home you need reliable internet connections

This adapter help improve stability of your connection, and it is a power adapter that can improve your speed depending on what type of internet you have

These are fairly decent, but I did end up returning them and getting dual ethernet port ones with an outlet. You might not think you need the extra ethernet port of the power outlet, but do it, it's worth it. Also, these don't work the best over the central breaker board despite what folks might say. Despite getting 1Gb to the house, and plugging one directly into the router, I would only get a few Mbps in the basement. At least the bandwidth was consistent though.

My wifi signal varies greatly throughout my 3 story house (including basement) such that I only get about 12mb in some spots even though I get 100mb from my cable company. The powerline carrier device from Netgear gives my PC and my TV full bandwidth inside the house - it's fantastic. Now if I could get a consistently reliable signal from WOW, I could enjoy uninterrupted content. Comcast may suck at customer service, but at least their bandwidth quality is good. Solid network performance in the house via powerline carrier technology makes it very clear where your networking weaknesses are - in my case it's the service provider....

My internet connection was very slow and this item was exactly what I needed. I installed it just as the salesman instructed, and presto I had no difficulty with the slow connection again. It worked so well I bought two more for my other employees.
