Unleash the power of intel 3rd gen processors

I recently purchased a Dell laptop with 3rd Gen i7 processor and I wanted to unlock the intel WIDI (wireless display) capability. After a bit of trouble with the set up (on the Dell), I was able to get everything to communicate and work properly (after contacting Dell Customer Support). I can say that it is awesome. I can be downstairs and connect to it on the upstairs bedroom. I can extend the desktop, duplicate the desktop and stream it wirelessly. The connection is good and nairy a hickup in the stream quality. LOVE IT! I plan on getting a device for by TV downstairs too using the laptop as a mobile streaming device.

If you have Windows 8.1 or newer and an Intel HD video card or other compatible device (check compatibility first) this is a great device. Similar to Google Chrome-cast. Works with some cell phones and tablets also but not one of the Sony phones. Probably not good for intense gaming as there is a delay of less than a second but still noticeable. Sometimes the connection would drop with heavy wifi use like desktop sharing in Lync. If I traveled a lot I would buy one for personal use just to watch movies in hotels. Great addition to meeting room. Good value. Have tried 3 Miracast devices and like this one the best. Others were an Actiontec and a smaller HDMI dongle-sized one.

I needed to connect my Moto X to a TV and be able to mirror the phone display on the TV. This is the only option out there that can do this. Hook up was simple, and the range from phone to TV worked up to about 76 feet. Screen doesn't time out like similar devices I have used on prior devices.

The device was easy enough to install and the device worked the first time I tried it. The quality level met my expectation level. My children are also able to use the device

    Doesn't work with Windows 8

Sold the item to me by Best Buy when it doesn't work with Windows 8. Best Buy sold me the laptop with Windows 8. I returned it with a 20% credit. The N Blackstone location in Fresno, CA didn't have a replacement. Went to the Clovis, CA location. Took the new unit home. Didn't work. For the second night in a row I was on the phone for over 2 hrs with tech support and they couldn't get it to work. A tech support lady told me finally it doesn't work with Windows 8. I returned it to the N Blackstone location. They would only refund me the original purchase price less the discount instead of the full original purchase price; therefore, I received nothing for my troubles but lost time, spent gas and much frustration. Let me know when your company gets a Netgear Puch2TV that works with Windows 8. Then I will buy it elsewhere. I was offended by the service and taking back the discount given after the first unit didn't work, let alone taking the time to setup the replacement unit, stay on the phone with tech support just to find out it can't work with my new laptop. Poor service. Poor product.

My PC came with Intel Wireless display several years ago. Intel has since upgraded their processors many times and this unit appeared to be the only one compatible for my PC. I have no experiance with setting up a wireless display, but the setup was easy, straight forward, and went smoothly the very first time. I've powered the unit up using the USB connection from my TV, instead of a wall outlet. I'm happy, yea!!

The concept is cool and when it works as it should it is really hassle free. However, many times I have to unplug the unit and reset it because it does not work. The picture is not displayed in 1080 p like the tv is capable of. It displays same as on the computer screen. It is nice when you're using something like youtube and want to display something to a group of people.

A little spendy but worked fine once you figured out the somewhat vague instructions. If a cable had been included with the unit (it is worthless without an HDMI cable) the price would have then been justified.

May need to have computer right next to push2tv?

When I first got the Push2tv and hooked it up, I couldn't get the download to work and the sound wasn't working, so I called netgear and they said I would need to take it back to Bestbuy and exchange it because it was defective. I returned and got another one and had the same problem. I think the problem with the download might have been due to having windows 8.1. I called netgear again and found someone that helped me with the download. The rep at netgear said he can't promise that it wouldn't have any problems and I might need to send it back to them and exchange it if I had any other problems. The sound worked but it kept disconnecting every 5 minutes or so. My computer was about 18 feet away and nothing was blocking the view to the adapter. I returned it and decided it would be better and cheaper to get a cord if it only works when your computer is right next to it.

I was dragging my computer around the living room and attaching a 6 foot cord to my TV to watch what was on my computer screen. This is quite an improvement over that!

I purchased this product in hopes to stream from my Tv to my computer wirelessly but I found out that my computer must have an Intel processor which was a bummer. I do like the fact that I can connect my cell phone to the tv but other than that the product is too limited.

I found the product to work but not as fast as I expected it to be. I was able to display my phone screen but was not able to show video without being choppy. I updated the firmware and still had the same issue.
