Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the ease of setup and the extended range as significant advantages. Many also praise the improved signal strength and overall performance. While some users experienced occasional connectivity issues, the positive feedback regarding ease of use and range significantly outweighs the negative comments. The small size of the device was also a plus for many users.

Bought this product for my parents to increase Wifi signal strength in their home. Was incredibly easy for my non-techie family member to install. Performance has been great. Much cheaper than other solutions from a name that is quality.

My house is very large. Really, REALLY large. I have ATT's Uverse and the wireless modem has never covered more than 40% of the house. I've tried two other range extenders (NetGear and DLink) with abysmal results. In once case the extender actually decreased the reception on my wife's laptop. Not so this unit. Installation took about 5 minutes. All of my laptops/tablets that need to access the extender picked it up without issue (Win 7 & 8 machines). Five bars in the kitchen, three bars in the farthest reach of the house. Its not a speed demon... Checking actual download/upload speeds with SpeedTest.net, its down about 60% on the native Uverse modem. But it's fast enough for the way I use streaming in my kitchen and living room. I'm giving it 5of5 for "Overall" because it's comparably priced with its competition, but unlike the competition, this one does what a range extender is supposed to do. No problems. No issues. It just works!

Dual band WiFi ranger extender that really works

My modem and router are at the top floor, since there are 3 interior floors inside my house, the lower level's WiFi signal has always been very weak. I have tried TP LINK and even Netgear WN3000RP, but still had dropped signal all the time. After searching the web, I realized that since I have a N router, a DUAL BAND WiFi Range Extender might be able to solve my problem. Between Netgear WN2500RP and this WN3500RP, I chose the later one due to its ability to plug into the wall power outlet directly. Secure set up thru WPS connection is so easy, and now I am getting very strong and steady WiFi signal from every level every corner at home.

Happy with this Wifi Range Extender

Using to extend Wi-Fi to deck in back yard and the signal reaches well past the deck buy 40 feet where the signal drops down to one bar. My router is upstairs 25 feet from the downstairs plugged in extender. I get a green light at that point representing "Good" signal strength. When I connect to wireless devices outside typically between 15 and 25 feet from there I get between 2 and 3 bars (my signal bar ranges from 0-3).

I bought this unit to extend my internet to my garage about 50 feet from my house. So far so good. I plugged it into the wall and answered a couple of questions on my pc and it was up and going. I am noow able to get a constant signal in my garage. I can only get 2 out of 3 bars on my iPad out there, but that may be because I am using the range extender strictly off of wireless. If I hard wire it at some point I may get a stronger signal. No big deal for now.

Just moved into larger home and wifi downstairs was weak. Now I can use all over home with good signal, even on the deck and front porch. Works great with Netgear router.

I was hoping this extender would fix the issue I was having with my roku box. Wanted to watch live stream of baseball game and was having issues with signal strength. Frustrating. Games would stop..with screen prompt of "loading" appearing often. Plugged this in...pressed a few buttons and bam!! Uninterrupted streaming!! I used option one in the setup. You keep your network name and it just adds "2gext"...or "5gext". Highly recommend!!

This has been giving me fits since I bought it. intermittent connectivity, bouncing from 2.4 to 5 ghz, losing connections, can't get in to set it up via browser. I'm taking this hunk of junk back. I have a big house with the main unit at one end and can't keep it connected. I've wasted 4 hours trying to set this up and have had it.

Not good for homes with power fluctuations

This was purchased for a grandfather living in the basement of a large home because he couldn't get a good wifi signal. This worked for him for about a month and then required constant attention (unplugging and replugging, pushing reset switches, etc.). In the end, it was unreliable. Customer service for this product was excellent though.
