Was easy to set up. Works well. But they didnt tell you that you need a cable to set it up.

I was having problems with losing my internet connection which was on a lower level. I installed the extender and have no issues since.

Easy set up and excellent extender that provided an very strong signal to an upstairs bedroom.

This router is working fine, took some time to find the right placement to be able to maximize the signal from the master router. Had to use an android app to find sweet spot, glad I had a Kindle I could use.

I bought this device to boost my wifi signal in my basement to use with an older laptop. It greatly improved my wifi signal in my basement and I am very happy I bought this item.

I have a wireless router on the second floor in my house that is supposed to cover the three levels of my house. However, the signal level and the internet sped in my basement was so low, that I contacted Geek Squad. They recommended getting a range extender. I put the extender on my main floor. Now I am getting a strong signal and good speed in my basement.

After getting the extender setup, it is working perfectly. However completing the setup took additional effort that a non-technical user may have needed assistance with. The steps in the setup are good, but, at least for my device it was assigning a bad subnet mask. The subnet mask -- in basic terms -- allows devices on the same subnet to communicate directly with each other; e.g., the extender and the router. Expecting the setup to work as advertised, I didn't catch this immediately. It wasn't until I started troubleshooting the problem that I realized that the subnet mask wasn't correct. Choosing the option to manually assign an IP corrected the problem.

This extender was easy to setup and it provides my entire household with WiFi now.

In a previous attempt using a different product I found installation to be time-consuming and buggy -- and I returned the device, giving up on the idea of extending my wifi range. With a different router, also by Netgear, and this Netgear wifi range extender the outcome has been totally satisfactory.

Our new house had the router in the basement, leaving a very weak WiFi signal on the main floor. I purchased this extender to provide a strong signal throughout the entire house. It literally was plug and play - install was very simple and 'voila' - we had a strong signal throughout. We have 2 different WiFi networks (a 2G and 5G) and it offers both. Great value and really solved the WiFi range problem affordably with easy install.

This was a good idea to purchase. We have it in the living room to extend the wifi in the house.

I bought this wireless extender because the very old walls of my house do not let the signal from my router through to the back of the house or to the upper floors. I installed the extender on the middle of the 2nd floor (as suggested by the internet provider) & got great connections all over.

This is super easy to set up and makes my network cover my whole three level home and out on the deck.

This Netgear Extender works very well for my needs. I was not able to get a good signal from the other end of the house so I purchased this device. Now I'm able to use all of my wireless devices all over the house without interruptions. So far it's working as expected.

I like the router, it helps with getting a good signal on the other end of our apartment.
