I'm not a tech guy so it took a little bit to get the extender installed. Sometimes the unit goes out, but I think it's because of the router. Otherwise the extender works well.

It definitely extends the wifi and makes it run faster, but being only 20 feet (give or take a foot or two) away, it should run faster than it does.

Doesn't facilitate internet access to whole house

The wifi router is in a downstairs den and the Netgear wireless range extender is in the kitchen. Sometimes my home computer is not able to connect to the internet because the signal is not sufficient.
