Had to hire someone to set it up. So, final cost was too expensive for the product.

Not a very powerful signal strength.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Netgear extender was used to extend the signal from a Belkin wi-fi router (also purchased at Best Buy) in one room to a third room, placing the extender in different locations in the 2nd room (room between the 1st and 3rd) to achieve the greatest signal to the third room, When using a wi-fi meter, I found that the signal strength from the extender when in the third room was only barely (not even one bar) stronger than the signal from the Belkin. I couldn't get a second laptop to maintain a good connection to the extender while in the third room. Connecting a Netgear USB external receiver/antenna fixed the problem. I had to return the Netgear extender.
