Great Range Extender
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this unit for my apartment which is rather long so i need to have my internet cover the front and back of the apartment since the front is used as a studio and many of the model need wifi to play music from there phone didn't have any problem with streaming music or video because later added a fire HD to a TV that is wall mounted

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We just set this up and I wanted it to bring the wifi up to the kids bedroom, which is in an extension of the house, I call the West Wing. When we plugged it into the hallway, a message came up on their media saying that the wifi was not set up close enough to the original router. this kind of defeated the whole purpose. We moved it a little closer and it seems to be working.

I found the performance to match the general consensus of the other reviews in that it drops to 2-3 Mbps after some time. After a reboot or restart the performance improves for a while. Try a more expensive product, you will get more.

Does what it's supposed to

I followed the directions closely and had to repeat about 3 times before I was able to get the extender to work properly. Since then (about 2 weeks) no further issues.
