It did increase the wifi as specified so if that's what you're wanting to do then this is the way to go, however it made no difference for the gaming and that was the reason for the purchase.

Great for extending or cameras

So I literally waited a month. And whaa laa I finally connected it with no problem this past sunday. My advice is set it up when you have TIME. It took me about 4 tries in one day. Works just fine with my new smart tv
