Solved my problem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My gateway is at one end of an "L" shaped house. Computer in the other. Signal had to pass through two exterior walls and was weak and intermittent. By locating the range extender so that there was a clear line though interior walls from the gateway to the extender and then from the extender to the computer solved the problem.

I live in an apartment where the space isn't that big but even this didn't help make my internet stronger. It helped a little but didn't make the cut for me. My internet still didn't reach certain devices that were "too far" from the wifi extender. I wouldn't recommend getting this product.

Good, if a bit quirky

It can be a bit quirky upon initial set-up to get the new devices - be they console, phone, or computer - to remember the "new" extended network. But speeds have improved for those devices that were furthest from the router - which was the whole point. I have had no lagging or other data issues with this.
