I bought this to extend a Comcast "all in one triple play cable modem / router"...because the Comcast WIFI signal strength was bad. This extender connected to the Comcast router, but the Comcast router signal strength would still drop, and cause issues. Ended up returning the extender and buying a Netgear WIFI router, and putting the Comcast unit in gateway mode. If it wasn't for Comcast's lousy router, I this extender would have been perfect.

We live in a one story home so this helps extend our WiFi throughout the rest of the house

No issues,easy setup, and I could even use it to limit my kids WiFi usage to certain hours of the day, which my router couldn't.

I bought 2 of these as wifi network extenders. I love how incredibly small these are. They aren't ugly or overly flashy, and won't block your existing outlet when plugged in. Also very easy to set up, and not too expensive. However, after setting one up, it stopped working the next day. You could see the extended network, and it was communicating with the access point but it won't connect to the internet. Replaced it with the second one and that one is working without a hitch. Very nicely extends our wifi signal to the upstairs, but one thing I wish it did was seamlessly use the same SSID. To extend the wifi signal, it takes the existing SSID you want it to extend and adds a "_EXT" to the end of it. So in essence, you have to connect to a separate network called "SSID_EXT" to use the extended extended signal. A small nuisance. Besides this, no other complaints.

i bought a linksys didn't work. this did work i don't have a wps button, had to use ethernet cable to set up and all was good

I use it as a wireless extender for a bedroom HTPC. Greatly enhances the signal so HD content streams without any stuttering.

I bought this unit to extend my range for my new Ring system, and it works just fine. No complaints, no issues setting it up.

It has improved our signal but we still lose connection on the 2nd level of our house

This product was very easy for me to set up and works great in our home. I recommend this to anyone who needs to extend their internet connection.

A previous review really helped w the setup of this extender. During set up it automatically defaults a name to your other router plus1(ex. My router and my router1) but if you change the name to match your router during set up your devices won’t have to learn a new router or switch between devices.

Installed this in the hallway upstairs. It provides a great range into all bedrooms.
