Great little gadget if you want to expand existing network with out all the wires... beside you have a good WiFi Source.. Can be problematic when setting up.if you have a Weak WIFi source. otherwise strong connection for Smart TV's, Blu-ray Players or just stretching your WiFi for internet ( Smart Phones and Laptops)

I was not getting wifi signal in one of the rooms upstairs. This extender works great, I now get a strong signal everywhere.

No issues,easy setup, and I could even use it to limit my kids WiFi usage to certain hours of the day, which my router couldn't.

A previous review really helped w the setup of this extender. During set up it automatically defaults a name to your other router plus1(ex. My router and my router1) but if you change the name to match your router during set up your devices won’t have to learn a new router or switch between devices.

I bought 2 of these as wifi network extenders. I love how incredibly small these are. They aren't ugly or overly flashy, and won't block your existing outlet when plugged in. Also very easy to set up, and not too expensive. However, after setting one up, it stopped working the next day. You could see the extended network, and it was communicating with the access point but it won't connect to the internet. Replaced it with the second one and that one is working without a hitch. Very nicely extends our wifi signal to the upstairs, but one thing I wish it did was seamlessly use the same SSID. To extend the wifi signal, it takes the existing SSID you want it to extend and adds a "_EXT" to the end of it. So in essence, you have to connect to a separate network called "SSID_EXT" to use the extended extended signal. A small nuisance. Besides this, no other complaints.

i bought a linksys didn't work. this did work i don't have a wps button, had to use ethernet cable to set up and all was good

Doesn't work great, but does help some. I would spend a little more and get a stronger one.

Works perfectly through the house easy hook up, keeps connection all the time .. keep away from walls with steel or metal in them
