We had a tough time finding a place where it would receive a signal strong enough, and far away enough from our router, to actually extend the signal. Once we found that spot, it serves the purpose we bought it for.

Wifi extender easy to set up

I can't write the fully technical reviews most people write however this works great for extending our network. We wanted to be able to use wifi outside on our patio since our router is upstairs and this works perfect. Can surf the web, steam Netflix, etc
