It was easy to set up, works great, and was less expensive than a lot of others.

So far so good. Started having major reliability issues with our Belkin router and had to had to reset it sometimes twice each day, so bit the bullet and bough a new router. Have not had a single issue since purchasing this router, very good investment. Very quick and easy set up. Just purchased another for my mom.

I picked up this netgear router not too long ago when I moved into my new apartment. I've had no issues with it thus far. It was very easy to set up, there hasn't been any connection drops, and our wi-fi is extremely fast. I recommend this to anyone in the market for a new router for a small house or apartment.

If you need a new router and aren't a a big tech person, just want something easy to connect, use and very affordable this was a great choice for me, My computer loads so much faster and I had it up and running in just a few minutes, so far great product for a great price!

For the money this router is great. Most people don't need all the bells and whistles that the $100 and up routers provide so this one is perfect for a medium size house and basic internet users.

I needed a newer and more powerful router and this has fit my needs and price range.

This is my 3rd router I had, the first were linksys and belkin. They were horrible because of the frequent drops they gave me on my iPod Touch. I have had this router for about a month an no problems unlike the other routers. I have not used this router on a laptop yet but i bet it would connect to the laptop. Also the speed is amazingly steady fast.

I have this router on my main level and my office is in my basement. I have full signal throughout the house and can run two laptops and my phone without a breakdown in the signal. I have Windows 8 on one laptop and it would not connect so I had to call customer service. The tech took over my computer, ran a scan and insisted my computer was at risk to sell me spyware. He was rude and would not let me regain control of my computer. I then had to have my personal computer guy check my computer and remove the program that the netgear tech downloaded. I will not buy NetGear again because of this shady tech experience. My other laptop with 7 installed easily with no support needed.

I just moved into in a small 2bdrm apt and this netgear wireless router is great for me and my room mate. We are able to stream movies on our devices and play games at normal rate anywhere in our apt without delay or hiccups. Very easy to install and doesn't take up much space. I would recommend it to anyone. Its a good price especially if your not looking to spend to much and works just fine. I'm more than satisfied with this product. I also read up on reviews before I bought it and it helped me make a good selection.

i needed a new router when my old one unexpectedly didn't work, so i ran to best buy stat, not wanting to wait for amazon. i went with one of the more basics models to stay in my price point, and even then, i feel like it's a little too basic to be in the $45-range, but i was working from home, and the situation needed to be rectified. i unpacked and set to installing right away. as my work laptop doesn't have a cd-rom drive, i was a little nervous when i first pulled out the installation cd, and then was elated to be able to sync up with the netgear install genie. where has this been all my routers? all in all, no issues with performance (i'm getting the speed i paid for, so it's not the router's fault) and works like a charm. after a week of conflicting IP addresses with my old equipment, i totally breathed a sigh of relief when all was said and done!

I like the easy set-up, this unit is to replacement an older Netgear wireless router from 108 Mbps to 300 Mbps. Works great, unit is located in basement and finally I can get a connection to the scond floor of the house, (masonry walls obstructions).

I have two Netgrear Wireless N routers--one in my apartment and one in my weekend home and couldn't be more pleased with the performance. Easy to install; easy to use. And the price was right!

I bought this item as part of my former job. The company provides corporate housing for individuals around the world. The Netgear wireless-N router is what the field service employees prefer to buy for the apartments. The company has used a variety of different brands, but when needing new ones on the fly, we always go for Netgear due to the ease of set up and the reliability of service. It's not the fanciest router, nor does it have a huge range, but it gets the job done for the apartments the company services.

Problem getting Router to initially connect on Charter Network. Took multiple power off / on with Charter technician resetting their Internet Modem multiple times before Charter Modem and this Router would sync. I've had no problems with the network once we got system running.
