Great for the Level Purchased

It's great for the level of power purchased. I didn't expect it to connect throughout my home, so have been satisfied. It actually connects in most rooms on the main level of my home. It's only in the back corner of a couple of rooms that the signal doesn't reach.

Needed to replace Cox Comm failed unit, and was recommended to this item by Cox Tech. Is easy to set up (with Cox Tech help) and seems to be working pretty well. I suspect the drop outs in link are more Cox related than the Netgear. Is pricier than I'd hoped, but it covers both technologies in one item, so I guess $160 plus tax is ok.

I bought the router a couple of weeks ago and love it. It works like it should, I have no complaints. It even has a nice easy link button so you don't have to enter the wp2 passcode if you don't want to, just push the button and link. Works with both my windows and mac comps very well.

This was my second router. The first I had for 2 months and I kept loosing my internet connection. I went into Best Buy and asked for an inexpensive but good router for home use. The sales person said this one and I'm glad he did. It was so easy to set up and I have had no problems for 2 months now. Netgear will always be my router from now on.

Decant Router

I would rate this router at five stars, that is if it was still working. I purchased this router Dec 19th 2014, it's been just over half a year and now the ethernet ports have stopped working. I like netgear because they made quality products, but this router is making me doubt their quality now.

Nice Product But One Big Problem

Installation was easy. Product works fine. But during the installation it modified a Microsoft piece of code and my QuickBooks system stopped working. Intuit support knew how to fix the problem. But I would nver have guessed that a router would corrupt an application.

I have had this router for 3 weeks and hasn't given me problems until 3 days ago. When I was surfing the internet the connection suddenly went out and I looked and the router was out. Then it reset but again the connection went off. After 3 resets it came back. Now today it went out again but came back. Overall I think it is a good product.

Awesome value and performance at competitive price point. Good feature set. Only addition could be dual band which is available in more expensive models. Advanced setup could be more intuitive and open but overall a very good product with nice asthetics, performance and featureset.

No more NAT issues!!!!

I have been trying to fix the open nat issue problem for xbox live for about 4 years now and now i have no more problems cause i bought this router. I always had an open nat with 1 Xbox hooked up to my old router but when i went to add 2 xboxs 1 would always be strict and they were never open at the same time. As many knows this causes game disruption. I tried port fowarding and never got it to work proper. So i finally just went to best buy and was advised to get this router cause its good for gaming rather than business. It does not require port fowarding and triggering. I just plugged it up and all NATs are open with 4 things hooked up. I can play halo with nooooooooooooooo problems now!!!!!!!!!!! I use this router as a wired router and not wireless for stronger connection. Hopw this helps some people!!!!!!!!!!!

This unit replaced a brand new N150 router that only lasted 3 days. Decided to upgrade to one with lifetime warranty. Both were on sale, so he upgrade only cost me $10. It was easy to set up and works well. I have had one startup where it never initialized properly, but cycling the power fixed it. It is slower to initialize than my previous D-link, but still acceptable. So far (~6 weeks), I'm pleased with this router.

Finally found a good router

This is by far the best router.
Cisco may be a bit faster but this one is much more reliable for me (I have not dropped a connection since installing it 3 weeks ago, my 4400 N and my 600 used to drop them constantly).
It is also better than my recent Belkin purchase. FYI - Self healing routers (like the Belkin) are great unless you live in an area with ??? internet. Then it just spends all its time "self-healing".

This router replaced a combo modem/router that I suffered with for a while, and this didn't disappoint. As soon as I took it out of the box, I was able to connect power, ethernet source, and hit the ground running. My only complaint is that I didn't buy one sooner!

Great range. Have an xbox 360, 2 blu rays, and 2 phones all sharing wifi on this thing and no issues whatsoever. Took less than 20 minutes to set up my whole house on the network. If you're having issues with this easily setup router it's more than likely user error.

I've had a Belkin router for 5 years now and it has crashed so many times in the past year, we had to access it for "restart" more than we did the internet itself. Fed up with poor response and poor reviews of Belkins and others, I was impressed with the excellent reviews of the NETGEAR N300. I hadn't expected to pay $69, but now glad that I did. Installation was incredibly easy and fast. Just follow the instructions!!! And do so in the order they tell you to! It was a piece of cake and was immediately found by my son's IPod before even configuring it. The WPA2 super secure configuration was a snap. No 10 or 36 digit numbers to type in for every connection. Make up a simple phrase and that's it. You now have super protection and your computers whether plugged in by cable or by wireless, are connected with very noticeable speed improvement. We have 2 desk tops, 3 laptops, an IPod and 3 phones that access Wi-Fi, and this sweetheart of a router handles them all perfectly. Don't screw around with anything less. No big manual - you can print one on line if you really have to. Just put in the CD and follow their lead. You have to have this!!
