this router is a good gaming router which is what i wanted. its primary use is for my xbox 360 and almost any game im in i never lag. if you want a router for gaming go with the Netgear N300

It took me 10 minutes to set up and I have no problems with it in 3 months so far

I bought this wireless router when I was in TX and used a cable internet provider. Had little issues with it then other then it dropping the connection once or twice. Now living in KS and with a DSL network provider and the connection gets dropped over 25 times a day and when it does connect it's really slow (0.7mbps). Currently I connect 2 laptops 2 Iphones and an Ipod. Connection with my DSL router is junk even after replacing ethernet wire connecting DSL modem to wireless router. Will be making a switch to NetGears DSL router/modem combo.

I have used many routers. This one is all round the best router so far I really like.

I like this router so much, I am going to buy another one for my bussiness location.

I give this product 0 stars. Went to replace my Linksys router that lasted 5 years. Local Best Buy only had Netgear in stock, so tried it. Big mistake. Never got it to work at all with a secured network. Spent 3-4 hrs with foreign speaking tech support trying to get it to work with an unsecured network. Tried firmware upgrades and lots of other "fixes". Keeps dropping wifi signal. Finally gave up and threw in trash and ordered a linksys router online and worked right out of the box. No tech support, no firmware upgrades, no fuss no cuss. Now I have a secured network that is faster and with better range than before. You'd be better off spending your money at the casino than buying a Netgear product. I learned my lesson. Stick with brands that work!

It was so easy to hook up just plug it in and it walks you through everything

Even when directly next to the router i never got a great signal. The further away from the router we got ino our two story home the weaker of a signal we got to the point where we sometimes couldnt connect. Even when getting a good signal the speed was more like DSL than the cable we have. The most annoying part was that we had to constantly reset the router for our devices to see the network. We've had this router for a little over a month.

Overall a great product with maximum coverage area. Easy setup and installation.

This works great in my home. 2 computers and a gaming system running at the same time without flaw! I would totally recomend this item for people who play online games, like on Xbox live and such. Also people who stream movies from sites like netflix.
