Customers are saying

Customers value the Wireless-N Router's ease of use, performance, and affordable price. Many appreciate its strong signal and wide range, making setup and daily use convenient. While some experienced connection difficulties or compatibility problems, the positive feedback on ease of use and performance outweighs the negative. The router's compact size is also a frequently cited advantage.

    So far so good...

Internet Provider: Comcast Plan: Blast! (50 Mbps) Reason of purchase: Comcast kept giving me refurbished replacement modem/routers and they kept dying on me after 3 months. Modem: Motorola - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem (SB6141) – Purchased through BestBuy Setup: Easy, but it took about 5 mins for the router to sync with the modem. The Genie app is fool proof and I like the additional features such as Parent Controls and Guest Access. Use: No issues with the use of the LAN Ports and the wireless signal is fine in our 1,500 Square Foot house. General Review: It works really well and was simple to set up. I had to read the direction due to the last two, what looks like lights, on the bottom are actually buttons to shut off the wireless and to do the one touch connect. I think that was poor design, but meh.. for the price.. I can’t really complain. I would recommend this to anyone who just needs a simple router with LAN Ports.

I was having issues with cable/internet & cable company recommended I needed new router. While cable rep was here I found this router; he couldn't believe the price was so reasonable. It arrived very quickly at the house and a "Mac-user" friend of mine said "I'll try to install it but anything to do with PC's are just a disaster". He took it out of the box, hooked it up in under 5 minutes. The biggest problem we had was finding the password (my reading skills need improvement, obviously). Bottom line. The setup took under 10 minutes; it worked; my cable problems have been resolved! A Great Deal; I highly recommend this product.

Got Netgear because the Cisco router, that I only had for a month, kept dropping connections and required a reboot everyday or else my laptop and desktop would not connect to it. I was planning on buying Netgear when I went in Best Buy the first time but the Best Buy sales boy talked me into Cisco. I was reluctant because I had performance issues with the last cisco i had bought, the connection would slow down and I would have to restart the router to get the speed back up. Anyway, enough about Cisco. The Netgear router is good. It's dependable, the speed is good. The range is good. No connection drops. When I boot up my laptop it always connects with no issues. All devices in the house connect easily and stay connected. Netgear is way more reliable than that Cisco router I had before.

Quick easy setup and works well. Recently had my Wi-fi go out. Contacted customer service and they spent 45 minutes trouble shooting programs. They were extremely patient and helpful. Turns out wifi issue was with the apt complex. Great product for the price.

Easy setup, and performs well. I'm using it in a 900 sq ft apartment and run Netflix and Hulu pretty much all day. My internet speed drags me down, but I do plan on investing in the Apple Airport Extreme eventually. Overall great basic product for slight usage

If you are looking for a cheap router for a single story home, this is the one to purchase. We have it located in the center of our home and have coverage throughout the house, including the back yard. It is also able to handle multiple players.

I had my doubts I could set this up, as this is the 1sr router and 1st computer I have ever owned, and I just turned 60! One call to Netgear tech support, and I was online! Have a small(500 sq ft) apartment, and no trouble getting online anywhere!

Recently did a Comcast upgrade and we didn't like the wireless router they provided. This one seems to out perform their equipment. Easy to setup and we haven't had any issues so far.

NETGEAR is a synonym for EASY

I had never bought a router before and needed to buy one for myself. They had NETGEAR and LINKSYS as the two main ones, but two Best Buy associates suggested NETGEAR to me since they had better experience with it. Now I see why. It was so easy to set up (no 200-page installation manual...just as simple as 1-2-3), and it's really easy to use. Also, it can stand up vertically, so it won't take up much space on your computer desk. It might be a little pricey, but it'll be well worth the extra $. Just be sure to do research on whether you want an N150, N300, or N600.

My mom loves Facebook and YouTube and accessed everything via her mobile network. I thought it would be good to set her up with some internet to try out to see if she'd like it. I went out and purchased this router with mom and took it home. I had her go through the steps herself, and she was able to connect the router to the new modem she received. I was so proud! She followed the directions to get wifi throughout her home, and she was so happy to be able to watch videos and movies with little to no buffering. If you need a solid router with easy instillation, this is a good purchase.

I purchased this product after reading many of review online. After using it for 2 weeks, I can tell that this is a good product. I have an apartment and the signal is good and stable all the time. The set up is easy. It took me about 10 mins to set it up and put it to use.

I bought this for my parents. Didn't think they needed a real expensive one like I have. But this little dude performed just as well as my $100 router and it's half the price.

My first WNR2000-100NAS router broke down on me and I almost didn't want to give it another try, but I'm glad I did. The router is actually more compact than the previous version and the signal is the same.

The Netgear router was a replacement for my Verizon router, which simply died after a power failure. While it was "bottom of the line" for Best Buy routers, it was still better than what I was replacing. Price, specifications, ease of installation, it was perfect for my needs!

Setup was easy, no longer than 10 minutes. We've had it for about two months now and never had a dropped signal. Can't speak to range as we live in a two bedroom condo, but for our space it's perfect.

I bought this on sale for about $20-25, incredible value. If you have a slower internet connection 25-75mbps range this is ok and can cover a fairly large range for its size. Expect a high of about 65mbps on wifi in the same room and down to around 20-30 in other rooms or on different floors. If you need max performance you know already your looking at the wrong product, for everyone else this is cheap, reliable, and easy to setup.

The setup of this router was quick and I was done in under 10 minutes! I was dreading setting up a new router because we now have so many devices that use Wi-fi now (over 10). It was a snap, and now I am truly realizing my internet speeds (100 MBPS). The range is slightly improved over my previous Netgear router. Even if you are not tech savvy, you can set this one up. This is the second time that I have gone with Netgear over other brands. I have never regretted it.
