I've been following As It Is' frontman Patty Walters on Youtube for a couple of years now, when I first heard his band got signed to Fearless I was exctatic and counted down the days til the release of this record. I hate I won't get to see them on Warped this summer but hope I'll get to see them live VERY soon

First time I heard DIAL TONES I was a fan. I had to have this cd. I went and got it the second it dropped. I was not disappointed. Some would argue its juvenile and not a mature record...but thats exactly why I love it. This release took me back to junior high and the good ol days when the Used, Yellowcard, Simple Plan, and Blink ruled the airwaves. What a great time to be alive!

This is one of my favorite albums that's been released in quite a while. As It Is manage to stick to classic pop punk themes and make them new at the same time.
The album opens with a song that will invigorate you and make you want to jump around while singing along (Speak Soft), and closes out by fading into a calm, almost acoustic song (You, The Room, And The Devil On Your Shoulder) that's very relaxing and all in all, lovely.
The album is great from start to finish, and I would even recommend it to someone who rarely buys CD's, because it's just that good.

Never Happy, Ever After was so much more than I could have ever expected from those 5 boys. They poured their heart and soul into each of those songs and it really shines through. This album offers songs that make you want to dance around, and even a few slower acoustic songs. I personally like Drowning Deep in Doubt as my favorite slower song, and Turn Back To Me as my favorite upbeat song. I couldn't have expected anything greater from them and I'm so excited to see what the future hold for Patty, Ben, Ali, Andy, and Foley. /\\\

One of the Best Pop Punk Album's of the Year!

As It Is show off their creativity and talent through 11 passionate songs in their new album "Never Happy, Ever After." There is no doubt pop punk fans won't instantly fall in love with this incredible record. Most, actually all, of the songs are on the negative side of emotions. As It Is cleverly puts together down to earth lyrics about misery, hopelessness and the struggles of relationships. Overall, this album is hands down one of the best pop punk albums of the year and I think anyone would enjoy this masterpiece.

This album was just amazing! I was never expecting this band to create such an amazing album that I can't even stop listening to. The lyrics are relatable in so many ways and the music style is just something you can listen to everyday without getting bored. Cheap Shots & Setbacks was one of the songs that I really enjoyed over the others but maybe because they released the music video a few days back and I've just been hooked on to it. Overall the songs are phenomenal!<3 BREAK THROUGH BAND OF THE YEAR!!!

I had high hopes for this album based on everything As It Is released in the past, and my expectations were exceeded! This not only showcases the versatility of all the musicians, but in their capability to diversify their style. It is pop punk pushed to the limit and I love every second of it! Definitely check out "Dial Tones" for a catchy chorus or cry alone in your room and release your angst to "My Oceans Were Lakes." Literally, every song here is a winner!

This is As It Is' debut album and it's genuinely fantastic. I'm blown away at the message and the theme of this album. I keep trying to find a favorite song but with every song on this album being as good as they are, it's very hard to choose, Currently I have "Sorry" and "SIlence (Pretending's so Comfortable)" on most often but there's a little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy on this album.

Never Happy, Ever After is one of the greatest albums released so far this year. Each song is unique and contributes to the overall vibe of the album. Everyone in As It Is worked so hard to create this, and you can really hear the amount of talent and effort they put into it. I've gotten a few of my friends to listen too, and now they love As It Is!! This album is definitely worth the purchase.

This is a great album from the newest members to the Fearless Records family. Really bringing the old punk rock sound from 2005-2006 era back into the scene. It's hard to pick a favorite song but my most favorite has to be "You, The Room, and the Devil On Your Shoulder". Definitely recommend for any fans of A Day To Remember. An album that's a must have in everyone's collection!
