Super man is my fav bring Superman return to 4k please

Assuming you have already seen Season one of this high rated Saturday morning cartoon show, the plots and pacing improved as this series went on, peaking in the 2 parters of Season 3. Original Superman radio actors Bud Collyer, Joan Alexander and narrator Jackson Beck fill out the voice cast. They were good in the 1940s and were just as good 20 years later. The cheap animation was criticized even at the time. Friz Freleng referred to it as being drawn on toilet paper while Chuck Jones called it Animated Radio. The latter is correct, but that is part of the fun of these stories. As animated Superman shows have existed in one form or other every decade, this completes the version that started it all. It's nostalgic fun, no more, no less.

Great series. This was before I was born but I remember watching some episodes as a kid.

Old Filmation Superman cartoons, just a good time, as long as you don't watch it expecting the Man of Steel movie

I enjoyed some of the cartoons like "Can a Luthor change his spots", and especially "The Ghost of Kilarny Castle" (you've gotta love a good magic ghost vs. superman story). Aside from that, the rest of the supes cartoons weren't to bad, but compared to the 1st season of "The New Adventures Of Superman", didn't seem as enjoyable to me.

I really enjoy Superman and I have the collection of most series' Season 1. This completes my 1960's animated Superman. I just wish it was available on digital somewhere.
