Just another tale of corruption and how the world would be a better place if we are to get the drugs off the streets, which is true, but told through the point of view of a cop trying to help a druggy take down the man who set it up in New York. Realistically, would be pretty difficult to accomplish this movie in New York. But it was made 30 years ago when Snipes wasn't over the hill in the movie industry.

When this movie first released in '91, I was not allowed to watch because of the graphic adult content. Although I was only 7, my parents would not allow me to watch R Rated movies growing up because I would ask too many questions

This Wesley Snipes film put him in the stratishre. It details the rise of a drug kingpin,Wesley Snipes. Lots of entertainment and great flowing film. An excellent edition to your video\cd collection!!!

There was no HD when this movie came out. At this price I wanted to see it in HD on the big screen. The scan was great. It looks good in 1060p. The Audio track was decent also. I didn't want this movie in my collection first. Now that it's on blue ray, a must have in my collection.

I’m a collector of movies and I’ve always been a fan of this one. An entertaining story of how two paths meet in the harsh streets. Great picture quality and sound. A definite must have if you are a movie collector.

Great casting but story could have been better. Nino Brown is the classic nemesis.

New Jack City tackles the crack epidemic in the 80s it’s about the rise and the fall of Nino Brown and the CMB. It’s a must own movie and a instant classic. Would recommend New Jack City to anyone.

This is by far one of the top hood movies of all time so when I saw it on blue ray I had to buy it so that I can have it forever. If you've never seen this movie you have got to watch it.

This is a great movie that shows how fast drugs have taken over our cities and streets. Shows how deep police have to go to try and stop this epidemic and save our neighborhoods.

Man, Wesley Snipes was robbed of the pinnacle of all awards. He carried this movie and gave an outstanding performance of a cold-blooded ruthless drug-lord. The shots of NY and the city are great, too. Ice T and Judd Nelson are pretty much HOT GARBAGE. Chris Rock is great.

I was not expecting this one to look as good as it does. I give it a 10. Very clean texture. Great transfer. Another $5.99 blu-ray that looks better than $20.00 blu-rays.

Just like the godfather this movie was one original modern day gangsta movie. With stars like Wesley Snipes and Ice T showing the harsh reality of drugs on urban society.

Bluray has done this movie justice in the sound & picture transfer! I loved this movie as a teen & when I saw it in the $5 bargain bin, I just HAD to grab it! So glad I did!

This is a must-have movie of all times. The story line was great. The actors were awesome. One of my favorite movies. Nino Brown. Remember the name. Not the game.

Wore it out on VHS and finally upgraded from DVD to Blu Ray. Seen it a million times. Best Buy had the lowest price, free shipping, arrived super fast.

What more can I say this movie takes you back in time. After watching it you can clearly see this movie was the blueprint for a lot of films made today

When I found this one on Blu-ray I jumped at the opportunity to add it to my collection. It took me back to the New Jack Swing era. Great times!
