This is a really good GameBoy. Comfortable to hold during long gaming sessions. The thumb pad is really nice as a joystick. Great quality screens give good graphics. I have really enjoyed the ability to download digital games to the devise, allowing you to play a lot of older games for a few bucks. It has a sleek look and feel. Overall a fantastic GameBoy.

I already own the 1st gen 3ds xl and loved it. Although I don’t play it anymore. I wanted to get an early Christmas gift for my 5 yr daughter who likes to game like her dad. But I didn’t see the need for the new 3ds xl, so I took a chance on this. And I have to say this newly updated version is very nice. Light and solidly built. Several color/designs to choose from too. Speakers are not very loud but she has 5 yr old ears. Not an issue. Good job on Nintendo. Very happy and well worth the price!

My daughter went from a 3ds to this but doesn't regret it! She loves the purple color and thinks the system is great, even without the 3d feature. The only thing that I'm not a fan of is that the pen won't stay in the device where it is supposed to go anymore, but we just put it in a holder in a case that was bought separately for the ds. Overall, would recommend.

I was hesitant in my purchase before but if you can find it on sale I recommend buying this product from Best Buy. You cannot find these cheap. It has an online digital store and a slot for a micro sd card expansion. The black and turquoise is a great selection. If you are waiting to buy a Nintendo Switch this is a great budget option and will bring you plenty of entertainment. The games are affordable as well.

What can you say Nintendo makes great handhelds, light, good battery life, great games

I've owned several 3DS's and this is the first 2DS XL I've bought. It has everything the 3DS XL has to offer minus the 3D effect, and it plays all the same games. This new 2DS has a larger screen size and still built like a rock. The kids enjoy playing Mario kart and Luigis Mansion on it quite a lot. The price was also right on point as it offers great value and a huge library of games to choose from.

Plays great and has eliminated the useless 3d feature. This system has a great library of its own as well as the availability to download great nintendo, super nintendo and nintendo 64 classics! My only warning is to be careful if you are transfering from an old system to a new one. I lost all save data but was able to redownload all previously purchased titles.

I just love this handheld. There's not a lot of 3DS games I want to play, but I thoroughly enjoy what I have, such as Samus Returns. 'Modern' handheld games were not, however, my draw to this as much as having a portable retro system. It's incredibly easy to find your favourite games of yore and play them on the go, anywhere you want! Highly recommended!

I had one of the orignal DS game systems and recently found a bag containing my collection of old DS games. I was pleased to find this next generation system at best buy and purchased zelda too. The 3D graphics are amazing and immersive. However you have to carefully hold the device to get the 3d effect clearly. Lots a of fun re living older games. I highly recommend this game player

This handheld game is large enough to see the screen visuals very well. It is compatible with 3ds. I was forced to purchase this game for my son’s 7th birthday because the Nintendo switch was sold out everywhere. Needless to say that he was happy with his bday gift because he was able to play his favorite game Super Mario!
