Great system. This is my 3rd system. I gave my black and blue to my husband and I am now playing on my Pickachu system. I wanted another one to keep for a spare when the one I have wears out. I did have a 3ds XL Animal Crossing system but it finally gave out when the lid broke. You will definitely enjoy playing on this system!

This is a replacement for my son but I find myself always playing with it when hes not using it. What's nice about the 2ds is it plays the 3d games but no 3d....which us a good safety measure for kids. Nintendo has a ton of games & you or your kids will never find themselves bored. Battery life is great & the unit is durable.

Great battery life compared to my New Nintendo 3DS. Don't miss the 3D function at all. The audio on my unit isn't perfectly balanced though. Right speaker a little louder than left but it doesn't really bother me. Color scheme is nice too.

What a great gift this was! My son got one and I got one and we just love it!! We love playing head to head in mario kart! It makes traveling long distance fun for him on not being bored in the car. I got the purple one and he has a blue one. We are both still learning how to use it but so far it has be great.

This thing is great! Came preloaded with Mario Kart which is a fun game for my Kindergartener to waste an hour on! Also bought super mario 3D game which is about size of a memory card that plugs right in. The user has a computer destop like OS with Internet and all kinds of other little games for kids. Highly recommend!

This is by far my favorite hand held playing device. The DS has many amazing games which I am happy to be able to play since this new version also supports the original DS games. Also the color of this DS is amazing. Matching with the GameCube color scheme.

Tagged team with my son’s uncle and purchase as a Christmas gift. He’s six and quickly learned how to use the controls for Mario Kart. Picked up Super Smash brothers and he was a pro after a flight. Graphics look really good and the battery holds up well. Definitely sneak time to play a game myself.

The shear amount of quality games on the 3DS is staggering. Even more so than the Switch, which really doesn't have that impressive of games. Sure, the Switch has a ton of games, but not the quality games like the 3DS has. Link Between Worlds Fire Emblem Awakening Mario 3D Land Metroid Samus Returns Dragon Quest 7 and 8 Bravely Default Radiant Historia Perfect Chronology Kid Icarus Uprising Ocarina of Time 3D Majora's Mask 3D So on and so on. If you missed out on this gaming experience just because it's portable, shame on you. I avoided portable gaming for many years after the GBA, and I wish I hadn't. I'm glad I decided to get the 2DS XL right before Nintendo ended production!!! One of the best choices I've made in gaming was to get this platform. Man, the games are so good.

I was on the fence about buying one so late in it’s life cycle, but my original 3DS was getting worn out and was uninspiring to play after upgrading to a Switch. This is a nice bridge between the two and makes it easier to get through the 3DS games I didn’t get around to finishing

The new XL large size is very nice, especially for younger children. This one comes with a game installed for the same price as anXL with no game installed. Our 4 year old grandson loves it and so does his 2 year old brother.

This new Nintendo 2ds Xl was a great purchase not only does it allow you to play any ds family title it fits comfortably in your hand. Is much more affordable in comparison to the 3ds which I never used the 3d on. It’s color reminds me of my GameCube from back in the day.

I purchased this system for my four year old grandson. This is his first game and I was worried about his ability to play it. In a matter of days he figured out how to play it and he loves it! It's small and easy to pack. He takes it everywhere. I'm glad I purchased it.

All the same features as 3DS XL in a more fun design. Only missing 3D feature which is not really necessary for a handheld console of this caliber, but comes with an AC adapter while the 3DS does not. All for a cheaper price.

I was hesitant to buy this considering 2 other of my kids were getting the switch and switch lite, but my 8 year old is more than happy with this. She can play all our old DS games and the new ones. It was a pain to get to connect to our wireless at first, where the switch and switch lite had no issues. Once we got it connected it has been great and stays connected. We are still learning new things on it daily, but so far very happy with it.

The 3D on the 3DS was good for many people, but hurt my eyes, so I usually had it turned off. Bought this New 2DS XL as a Christmas present for a family member. They've really enjoyed it. Value is good in that they can play DS, 2DS, and 3DS games. However, the Switch Lite isn't too much more money, so I think this could use a slight price drop. Switch games are a bit more expensive, though, so I still think the 2DS is a decent choice.

Got this for my 4 year old daughter to get her into games/technology fun and she learned the buttons fast and she really enjoys it. The size and color were great. Fun alternative to tablets and never ending YouTube toy videos of other kids playing with toys.
