I am a lover of all Mario games and this is a great transition from the older Nintendo consoles to the wii. Excellent introduction to Mario world with the kids. Mario is one of the very few characters who survived the jump from 2D to 3D. This game is very fun and I like how you can play with more than 1 player at once. My kids love it and it's very addicting. If you've ever played the original stuff you'd enjoy the newer versions. I feel like this took the best characters the best levels and really took there time on the levels and Mario music quality, which you'll get to appreciate as soon as you turn it on. A must buy for you and kids!

Really fun game the kids love it. It's cool that it's multi player. Not violent like allot of games so perfect for the kids.

Fun video game, graphics are great and it's just like the old game but in a newer version!

It was the first Super Mario Bros. game to come out in a log time and is very much like the original Super Mario Bros. games on the 'regular' Nintendo game system my brother and I had as kids. This is a great follow up to those and will be fun to play with the kids when they are old enough! Awesome that 'they' brought Mario and Luigi back to 'the big time'! Highly recommend for hours and hours of fun! Enjoy!

My 5 year old son loves this game. I was a little skeptical at first to buy the game, I thought it would be difficult for him to play but he figured it out rather quickly and easily. I love that it is up to a four player game and you can add and drop players as you play. It is a good game to play with the family and you can have hours of fun. Definitely recommend this game!

We purchased this game to play as a family, and it has given us countless hours of challenging fun together. The levels are very bright and captivating. The gameplay is by no means a pushover. This game is great fun, and quite challenging. Learning to keep on your toes, and time your jumps and ducks just right are just a few of the challenges awaiting you in this mario game.

This Mario Bros Wii game is a great modern interpretation of the original Super Mario Bros games. It captures some of the essential elements of Mario 1, has the feel of Mario 3, and has a little Mario 2 and Yoshi thrown in there. They also made a really good 2-player functionality which takes into account how hard it is to keep two players right next to each other, especially when there is a lot going on on the screen. But, at times it can be very frustrating to coordinate two people's movements. It also uses some of the controller movement functions to add dimensions to the game. Very good overall!

I bought this as a Christmas present for the whole family and I have been playing it with my 7-year-old. It is a lot of fun but certain levels can be frustrating!

We love this game! My fiancee and I have been playing the original Super Mario Bros. on a modded Wii system. We decided it was time to purchase our first game for the Wii. We thoroughly enjoy this game and the adventures with Mario & Luigi. The motion controls take time to get use to but the graphics, worlds, layers and detail found in this game make it worth while.

This game brings me back to my childhood memories. The last gaming console I owned was the super nintendo. I just got a wii mini and got this game and its so much fun. It old school fun. don't worry about online gaming or anything else just pure fun. Oh and its not as easy as you think. The worlds are challenging. Get it!!!

Who doesn't enjoy a classic game with a new twist that up to 4 people can enjoy together? Even though my family and I beat this game once, it didn't stop us from enjoying playing it again and slowing down a bit to find little things we missed the first time around. Great game, worthy of being in your Mario collection.

It has been just about 30 years since Mario first graced us with his awesomeness. Naturally, with hundreds of game appearances since then and dozens of games in his core platforming series, things were bound to get stale at one point or another. I believe that point is right now, with New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It is what I consider an experimental bridge entry in the Super Mario series of games. It takes the mechanics that make the old 2D games so fun, throws in some nice and colorful updated graphics, and then tries out a 4-player cooperative mode. That 4-player cooperative mode (any-player cooperative mode, really) is all that stands out about this one, though. The levels are bland and unimaginative, the powerups feel like they would be better suited for more open and interesting Mario games, and the multiplayer aspect is not very cooperative. I guess it can be fun to have four characters running around at the same time, but it just doesn't feel fun for me. The levels are simply way too easy and simple and I think that is to incorporate more comfortable cooperative play. But this imbues the single player experience with a sense of banality and extreme ease. Not to mention this game is definitely obsolete with the induction of New Super Mario Bros. U on the Wii U. NSMBU is a fantastic game with very memorable levels and experiences, with much better implementation of multiplayer. I would definitely choose that one over this if you had to pick.

My kids are 4 and 5 and love this game! It brings back memories from when I played the original Mario Bros. when I was just a little older than they were. I wish there was a cheat mode though that would enable anti-fighting and bickering when one steals powers from the others though.

I love that 4 players can play this game at the same time. It is fun for the whole family to play and team play in the game means that everyone is in on the action, all the time, instead of one person playing while everyone else waits for their turn after the first player dies.

My 10 year old played this game for years and loved it. Then my 4 year old started playing. They played it so much that it either worn out or they scratched it beyond repair. It is such a fun basic game we had to re-purchase it. A game that we will always play at our house.

Great version of the old Mario Bros. with new challenging worlds. This version is similar to the DS version but again, with new and different challenging worlds. I like how 4 players can all play at the same time. My kids (8 & 10) can't stop playing it, it's so fun.

I bought this game for my 8 year old son to show him how playing Mario on my original NES was better was better than playing it on the Wii, I ended up playing it more on the Wii, he absolutely loves this game it, makes for a great family fun night or day.

This game takes the classic Super Mario Brothers style of game and ports it into the Wii, with lots of unique use of the Wii controls. Team play makes it fun (but occasionally frustrating) for the whole family to play at once; I play with my son all the time.

Love this game lol I actually bought it as a gift for a friend and they love it and when I play it it just brings great memories from the original Mario game from the Nintendo game console :D I would highly recommend for any age. Excellent graphics too

Bought this game for my daughter's friend on her birthday. She plays it all the time. I even had the opportunity to play it myself and it reminds me of the super mario game for super nintendo. Great remake of a classic game it's on my wish list of Wii games now.
