I bought this small dehumidifier for my living room to get rid of the sticky and heavy air. it works great in removing water from the air and is relatively quiet. the only negative I have found it when pulling out the water container to empty it out. sometimes it gets stuck and doesn't come out smoothly. if the container is filled to the top with water and it gets stuck, the water might splash a little. I always empty the filter before it fills up to the top to prevent any splashing when removing the container. other than that, its a great little unit and does the job!

This is a good dehumidifier for a very good price without breaking the bank. The physical size is small enough to place where I don't want it to be too noticeable when not in use. I turn it on once in the morning and evening to retract the humidity in my bedrooms and it works great! Although I am not sure how well it would work if you have a larger space like a 2-story ceiling height living room.

Overall I'm pleased with the performance of the device. It does well what it should do. For me it' snot noisy because I'm using it in the basement. In a couple weeks the odor disapeared. I'm using it for three weeks this is why I can't judge about power consumption. If in a year I'll have the same opinion than I'll say that this is a very good product and I can recommend it for others. My suggestion for the manufacturer: it would be nice to have information what are the humidity parameters the device is performing and a possibility for setting up the humidity level. This would probably save energy when the humidity reaches a sertain level and the device shuts deown.

This dehumidifier has been running in our 15'x20' basement for just over a month now. It is working great! Runs VERY quiet and has a hose attachment that drains itself - no emptying the small tank. Glad I found this unit. Price was good too.
