First impression is awesome but one year after you will feel like a stupid to had buy it as the led lights stop working properly then the coolers stop working then one of the zones stop working and guess what, you call the company and they give you no solution, so I will need to buy another wine cooler from another brand. Don't buy this at all!

This is a great value in a wine fridge. Since it does not have a compressor it is very quiet. However, there definitely needs to be an air space around the wine fridge because of the heat it dissipates. The air around the sides is noticeably warmer than the ambient room temperature. The fridge keeps temperature well and holds lots of bottles for its size.

This was my 3rd try at a small wine/beverage cooler. The first one I picked up in the store (Insignia Brand). . It was a compressor style and was far too loud to use near my home theater system. I kept it and moved it to the office. The second one was a Thermoelectric and I had it shipped to home. It was an SPT brand. It arrived damaged. The hinges were destroyed and the door didn't stay on. I didn't like the fact that the temperature range was small. I returned it. This one arrived MOSTLY okay. One plastic hinge cover was cracked. I contacted New Air and they are shipping me a new hinge cover.
I planned to use this for wine AND beverages (soda).
I like that I can set both sides down to 46. Not all Thermoelectric coolers allow as great a range for both sides.
I was really hoping that a Thermoelectric would be silent. It's quiet, but not silent. I keep one side at 46 and there is a constant fan noise. I've noticed that if I were to set the temperature above 50, sometimes the fan turns off. I assume it runs constantly because I have it set to its lowest setting.
The other downside is that it's really not meant for cans. The wire racks hold wine bottles well, but not much else. They do pull out, but the inside base of the cooler is curved to hold bottles too, so you can't even plan to stack cans on the bottom.
If you're looking to only store wine, this is probably just fine.
