Good fan, too much water for me

The fan moved a decent amount of air for its size and the oscillating feature ensured good air movement throughout the patio area. The misting feature was refreshing but it put out a bit too much water for my liking; it was difficult to benefit from the breeze produced by the fan without getting a bit damp in the meantime. It would be nice if the misting nozzles could be adjusted to govern the water output. However, my kids loved the misting feature! I ended up returning the fan to get a 24" drum fan. Contrary to what I believed would be true at the time of purchasing, I appreciated the air movement more than the misting feature and decided to purchase something congruent to this aspect. To each their own, this fan will be enjoyed and appreciated if you want a misting fan.

NOLA heat

Poor quality control.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this misting fan because I thought Best Buy would sell good products. This fan was 90% higher than those for sale at Home Depot. I thought that I would get top quality and would be willing to pay for top quality and trouble-free operations. I was wrong. The connecting adapter that connects to the garden hose had a hole in it, and water sprayed profusely, and no water came out of the intended misting nozzles. Rather than spend the time to disassemble the fan and ship it back to Best Buy and endure the hassle of getting a replacement, I decided to go to the hardware store to patch the hole. I bought some marine epoxy putty and filled the hole. I will test it later today, and I hope it plugs the hole!
