It really cools. Great price. Can be placed anywhere.

I just tried for couple of minutes with ice water. I love it with the cool breeze. I think I can use it this summer as like an air conditioner. I'm happy with this product.

I bought this in place of a window air conditioner and it’s not even close to comparison. It’s more of a fan than an air conditioner, it did not cool my bedroom on a hot night.

This is a great little fan and is a great alternative to AC. I would recommend!

Turned out to be a poor choice. Did not cool down room @ all. Started to leak all over floor and carpet within 30 days of use.

I was skeptical but desperate. We only have a window air conditioner in the living room. The bedroom was terribly hot all day and night and there was no working outlet to plug in an AC unit. The tower fan did little to help. I saw an outdoor evaporative cooling unit on a popular talk show and started to do some research online. I found this great deal and decided to buy. Cheaper than moving or hiring an electrician! I set it up within minutes of receiving it. Last night the bedroom was actually chilly on the low setting! I don't have a room thermometer so I don't know how many degrees cooler it was. I know I prefer cold weather and can't sleep if I'm hot. Last night I was chilly and happy for the first time since spring! Thanks, Newair!

It works fairly well especially when used with the icepack in combination with the water. It's a more slender design compared to the more bulky water cooler fans of competitors. And is priced a bit lower than them. Some features not seen in fans of this type like the timer for automatic shutoff, like that of portable heaters. Most effective in dry heat, especially near an open window. It's not as effective in extreme humid heat. The shutters allow for swing rotation in left an right, but there's no adjustment for vertical.

Great fan and the cool water tank makes this a perfect fan for hot Texas summers. Remote control is a nice addition. Works perfectly.

I purchased this thinking it would help. It didn't! Only worked for about 2 weeks then the cooling stopped working, works if you wants to over pay for a regular fan (nothing more) it's also loud. Since it was more then the 15 days Best Buys didn't want to return it, said I had to go through the Manufacture. When I contacted the manufacture they said I had to go through Best Buy because it wasn't after the 30 days. This was just a waste of my money (because I guess money grows on trees these days and we can just throw it away) Definitely not worth buying or the price.

THE PRODUCT WORKS GREAT. I ONLY HAVE IT ON THE FAN LOW SETTING AND IT COOLS OFF MY BEDROOM JUST RIGHT. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW MUCH BETTER IT WILL DO ON THE COOLING FEATURES.
