A great old time western, just not enough of them. We need more good westerns

A look at the hard, dirty life of the late 1800s after the end of the Civil War. This is a heart rending tale of a young girl who is twice orphaned and only oafish men want to take advantage of her or steal her away from Tom Hanks. I can't give you the sense of all the feelings and questions that are in this movie but I will tell you it is a Must See movie. I loved it.

This was a really good western in a time when Hollywood rarely makes westerns. Tom Hanks did a superior job in the lead role as the reader of the news in frontier Texas in the late 1800’s and kept the viewer interested in the story line throughout the movie. All the characters were well portrayed. I would recommend this movie.
