    Man from the mountains becomes a big city cop. When a murder hits home Truman Gates must act a a buffer between his duty as a detective and to prevent his family from seeking their own form of justice. Truman's brother arrives intent on getting justice. Truman tries to appeal to crime boss "Papa John" Isabella to turn in the murderer warning of a war coming if he doesn't. Frankly I feel this is an underrated performance by Swayze. As well as a fine performance by Andreas Kastulas as "Papa John".

    I have always been a huge fan of Patrick Swayze. If you haven't seen this movie, do yourself a favor and check it out. So many big stars included, before they were as well known. Even after all these years the movie still holds up.

    Lots of big actor names in this movie. A note for trivia buffs, a KISS pinball machine makes an appearance in the movie.
