Excellent product with an easy install! Just make sure you plug in the rear camera with the wire facing upward to ensure rear camera operation. This camera has a great video quality and even captures audio. It truly comes in handy in the case of an auto accident.

i buy it for my daughter, she's NY state for college and the driving over there it's crazy. And I'm surprised because usually she called me, I can't fix it, but this time it was "it's easy to fix and function very well, better compare to her friends brand" i definitely promote the nextbase dash camera brand. and the price was cheaper + the external storage help a lot. that's a top product I will add to my car.

Startes off great but with time the rear cam doesnt sync with the dashcam and does not record for the rear. When the rear cam does connect i get a purple image. I have to disconnect the dascam and then plug back in sometimes once and sometimes more. The quality of day and night is really good.

I purchased two Nextbase cameras, (320XR and the Piqo2). Upon setting up the 320XR, it will not display the rear camera. At first the rear PIP view was black, then after a reboot, it was gone. Only the front camera is displayed now. Completed all troubleshooting steps with no luck. Unfortunately the car power adaptor for the Piqo 2 worked one time and failed (will not work in either vehicle power port). The camera will power up on an A/C USB-C adaptor. Cameras looks good in quality and picture is good from what I can determine indoors. Will be returning both.

For the 320XR, we’re sorry to hear about the issue with the rear camera not displaying. If you haven’t already, please try checking the rear camera connection to ensure it’s securely plugged in, specially the one all the way in the back it needs to be all the way in without any silver band. If the issue persists, please reach out to our support team at nasupport@nextbase.com, and we’ll assist you with additional troubleshooting or a solution.
Regarding the Piqo and the car power adaptor, we understand how important it is for everything to work as expected. We suggest testing with a different power port, inside your home with a PC to see if that helps. If the problem continues, we’ll be more than happy to help resolve it or offer a replacement.

Picture is great quality, I like the fact that you can hardwire the unit for continuous recording even when parked. I’ve tried a few other cheaper dash cameras that seem to all have issues with pairing to your cell phone if you run apple or android CarPlay at the same time, this unit being a dedicated recording device with SD card memory relieves those issues. Only gripe I have is the magnetic rear camera mount seems to move the camera often if you have a split window rear lift gate like my Jeep Wrangler. Every time I lift the glass the camera seems to shift a bit.

I’ve had these cameras set up for a few months now and so far no issues at all aside from the rear camera having a purple hue on the screen every once in a while. It fixes itself after a few minutes so it doesn’t really bother me. It’s an affordable dash cam bundle that does its job so I am happy with it (:

To view your recordings, you would need to plug the camera into a PC or remove the SD card from the camera and plug this into a PC to view your footage.

I wish I could like this but the Low Battery warning keeps coming on and beeping. The connections both to the camera and the lighter plug have been checked numerous times and is solid. Even when checked out of the car using a USB plug to computer, wall or with a converter plug, Low Battery keeps popping up. Not sure if I'd purchase this again and still hoping to find and fix the problem. The cameras work fine, and it takes a little bit of practice to figure out how to take pictures, record, angle, etc but because of the incessant beeping, it has not been a fun thing to have in the car. Sadly, I unplug it from the lighter half the time. Also, even tho the magnet is a convenient disconnect, it is so strong, it feels like it will remove the base from the windshield.

If the dashcam is plugged into power (e.g in the car or to a USB in the house) you should not have the battery warning pop up. Got this for my work truck after someone executed a left turn in front of me with no turn signal while I was attempting a legal pass ( they wer moving well below posted speed limit) was lucky enough to stop but realized that there were no witnesses and they would have lied and I would have been considered responsible for the accident. Easy to install and economical since I didn’t want to spend a lot on the company vehicle

What a great camera in a small package. Front and rear cameras are clear and cover a lot of area. Easy interface/software to play back on computer. Using a 128Mb SD card gets me a few days of continuous recording while driving. Easy to "capture" save at one touch of a button. Definitely worth it.

This webcam has been the perfect solution that I needed to record both the front and the back of my car for that added, extra peace of mind. It took me a little over 10 minutes to route and hide the cable across my 4 door sedan, but its been well worth it.
