All of a sudden it wouldn't stay on longer than 30 seconds. Battery wouldn't hold a charge after all night on USB charger. Dealing with manufacturer in getting a replacement but in the meantime I'm out a camera. UK based tech support.

SD cards only have limited lifespans. In our manuals we recommend formatting every 2-3 weeks to prolong the life of the card. Without this regular formatting, or if the card is non-compatible or damaged, the card could corrupt which would cause a failure of data writing.
Symptoms of SD card failure are: an audible 'alarm' tone, non-functional buttons, freezing, corrupted files on playback, image missing from files, lack of file recording etc.
I'd recommend a Dash Cam compatible 8GB -128GB U3 Micro SD card, specifically designed for Dash Cam or CCTV usage. Using a dash cam compatible SD card instead should then allow your Dash Cam to function as designed. The card needs to have a minimum continuous write speed of 48MB/s.

You can't see live view or live video neither the video on storage card and the wifi and Bluetooth disconnect from the phone when you use another app and to reconnect is a pain in the.... So, when you are on a trip and see something that you want to video it, you have to pull over, stop, take a picture or video and go because you can't do that on this dashcam.

Not working for me....

Downloaded the app on my S20 FE but I couldn't get it to connect with the Dash cam for some reason, neither via bluetooth nor wifi. Also, it kept asking me to reformat my SD cards as I tried a few already but none of them worked....It just seems to be too much trouble to go through for setting this up so I'm going to look elsewhere.

All of our cameras are tested between -20'C (-4F) to +45'C (113'F), although if the car temperature exceeds this you could potentially experience issues. We'd recommend removing the Dash Cam and placing in the glove compartment when the Dash Cam is not in use to prevent it being unnecessarily heated or cooled on the windscreen. When storing the Dash Cam for an extended time period, store within the following temperature range: from 0° to 25°C (from 32° to 77°F).

It is hardly possible to read license plates at few feet distance. I observe the same quality with my old 1080p dashcamThroughout any car ride, some videos won’t play for example 3-6 mins out of a 20 min ride won’t save and will not play!.. it stays on a black screen like the above picture. Also when you turn off the car.. the camera should automatically turn off it self and save the video.. but nooo not with this camera!! When I turn off my car the LAST 3 mins of the video don’t save and you’ll get the error message like it shows on above pic. This is definitely not safe and something someone should rely on to feel secured if an accident would of to happen. I also tried everything such as trying a new wiring cable, resetting it and also re- updating the software and nothing works ! Will definitely replace with different brand.!

I'd recommend checking that your SD card is fully compatible. A lack of recorded footage suggests the current SD card is not compatible.

The only flaw is that sometimes it pops off the window and the suction won’t stay. We just have to re-suction it every now and then.

Small User friendly car cam

Lightweight, small, make adjustments to the features using same hand holding the camera. User friendly, easy to adjust to your liking with touch screen. - motion sensor is sensitive, starts recording immediately. -adjust time recording in increments so your card doesn’t fill up with a continuous recording. - sounds/alarms on off feature. sound recording on/off feature. - amazing quality record playback. - easy setup -wifi and Bluetooth capable - uses micro SD card - glass mount contains an attached magnetic piece that allows user to remove the camera instantly to take with them. The magnetic piece is part of the attachment that sticks to the glass. - charges quickly -Helpful in teaching driving students so they can see mistakes and learn by visual means -wide view allows for nice road trip playback To remember the good times had -I used a Nextbase microSD -very sensitive to movement and record starts quickly -plug into any USB charger -internal battery -take pics instantly with just a tap of the screen -you can switch between the view of the road to it showing you the speed you are traveling. I love the road feature, plus it allows for taking quick pics if in road view -While I haven’t set up the emergency response, I intend to since we tend to forget our medical alert bracelets when rushing out and the cam can alert medical personal as to very specific medical info that can be a life saver Cons -had trouble keeping it off once I pushed off button. It would turn back on and make a lot of sounds warning me to charge it. It got hot and couldn’t figure out why it kept turning back on but I went back in and changed some of the settings once it was charged. Seems like the sensor was picking up on me passing in front of the camera as I was charging it and didn’t realize that was part of it turning back on. If you don’t want to wake up a sleeping passenger best to keep the alarms and sound features off
