    Pretty good overall. Not a huge upgrade from NHL22 but if you want the latest in gameplay for NHL23 I would recommend

    EA doesn’t put much effort into NHL. The hockey gaming world needs another company to force EA to do a better job.

    Not much different from last year's version but I do definitely enjoy this year's version more. Just enough subtle differences to make it a little different. The physics seem to be better.

    Solid, just buy for the roster updates at this point. Wish they would sacrifice some of the detail and nuance to make the game faster.

    I wanted to like this game I really did. While there are some gameplay elements that have been improved like the last chance pass/shoot. Scrums in front of the net feel more realistic. There are presentation elements that have been removed. I miss the controller speaker being used for game play sounds, goal horns, and music. Makes the game feel unfinished compared to NHL 22

    PS5 really stepped it up with this new version of NHL. Superior graphics & gameplay. I must for any NHL fan & gamer.
