NHL Slapshot for the Nintendo Wii is a lot of fun. I played the NHL 2K games on the Wii for a while and wasn't impressed. NHL Slapshot impreseed me greatly. The hockey stick attacthment (that is inlcluded with the game),makes you feel as if you actually playing hockey. And the PeeWee to Pro mode puts the life of a hockey star into perspective. You begin on the pond as a PeeWee and play through Bantams and then you are drafted into the CHL. And if your lucky enough, after the CHL you are drafted into the NHL. Minigames make the game exciting for the whole family. With a split screen shootout mode, you can try to deke out or shutout your brother, sister, mom, dad, or friend. Also, with four different levels of gameplay anybody can play and have fun doing it. And as in most sports games, choose your favorite team and play in a season or in the play-offs. Many kids wonder, can I create a player? YES! Make your player and put him/her on your favorite team. If you are looking for fun game for the whole family, I would reccomend NHL Slapshot.
