I picked up this game because I said two things: One... Square Enix makes solid games, right? ... and Two... I'd never even heard of it and that kinda made me more curious. I got home and played for maybe 30 minutes before I was tired of the look and feel of the game. The game is so stylized to appear like you're fighting magical beasts made out of words... that they took the idea way too literally... the monsters are actually made of words and in order to make this look good... they needed to do something other than what they did. The modeling of all enemies is different, and interesting, but just simply looks bad. I couldn't get far enough into the game to give it a chance... so if you're interested in anywhere past level 2 ... then look elsewhere for a detailed review.

Game was decent but far from perfect. If you're looking for something to tide you over until the game you really want to play comes out (and you like RPG actions games), this would suffice. Be warned, there is a whiny side character though.
