I bought this album as a replacement for an older version of this album I had as a teeneager. Just as good as I remember it being back then. Of course this era was before music became so watered down and commercial. These guys helped pioneer the west coast rap movement and made it possible for futue rap artists from the west coast to flourish. They were truly innovators and originaters. With Dr. Dre's classic production and vocals by the late great Eazy E, Dre, and MC Ren this album is a must have for any true west coast rap fans. To top it all off the price was awesome at only $5.99 and the CD was in mint condition!

It looses some hustle without Ice Cube on the tracks, but MC Ren does a decent job picking up the slack. The actual CD is a bargain, considering the bonus tracks are the 100 Miles and Runnin' EP. If you own Compton, or have any interest in this era of rap, I'd suggest picking it up.

Classic Hip Hop! Although derogatory ... this is when Hip Hop used to be fun. They actually talked about something even when they didn't talk about anything ... and made it sound good!

It's a good album, but NWA without Ice Cube just doesn't feel right. I'll still listen to it all day, but I would never put it over Straight Outta Compton.

F*@% Tha Police is still their best album, but this CD is much better than any of the rap garbage produced today. I sound like my dad, but it's the truth.

What would gangster rap/hip hop would be without N.W.A.? These tracks are harder than a lot of rap that is out right now

I was amazed to find this on the clearance rack at my local store. I couldn't pass it up, but it was sure worth it.

If you like Classic West Coast California Style Music you gotta have NWA in your collection!!

A classic album with dope beats and lyrics. An introduction to an early Deathrow era. 10/10
