Decent ending to a fun trilogy

Night at the Museum 3 is a decent ending to am inventive and colorful trilogy, Ben Stiller reprises his role as Larry the Night watchman who rides herd over a bunch of museum exhibits that only come alive at night thanks to an ancient Egyptian tablet. We finally learn the origins of the tablet and its powers in this effects filled adventure. Robin Williams is great in his final role as a wax version of Teddy Roosevelt, but I'm afraid the true star of the film is Dexter the little monkey with a very active bladder. I'll leave that for the viewers to discover for themselves. The film is a treasure trove of CGI effects that dazzle the eye and pop from the screen. Moving the action to London adds a bit of freshness to the script and the addition of Rebel Wilson as Larry's English counterpart is hilarious. The film leaves us with a serious message about growing up and letting go that makes it worthwhile family viewing.

I enjoyed the movie and treasured Robin Williams' last performance in the series. The only issue I had was the monkey urinating scenes. I'm just not into potty humor. As far as a movie to take your children to, I liked the father/son story lines. People can relate to being a single parent and a young adult trying to find his way. Jedediah and Octavious are predictably entertaining and offer offer insight into friendship as do the characters of Cecil and Gus. It was refreshing to meet a new character in Sir Lancelot. And of course no one else can sell a believable Pharaoh like Ben Kingsley. A star-studded film indeed, I loved the reference to The Wolverine. The viewer is bewitched from the opening scene till the very end.

A nice fun romp through an English Museum and new characters are quite good. I categorize my movies depending on my moods and do I want to see action, Drama or lift my spirits with a good comedy. This is definitely that comedy that puts me into a good mood. All the main characters are back and that adds a nice note of familiarity to the movie. It is exactly what you think it is if you have watched the previous movies. Between the new characters and a completely new museum I found this movie particularly entertaining. I think you will also .Especially if you enjoyed the earlier films

As is often true with sequels and a series, this wasn't up to the standards set by the first movie of the three. It was imperfect, but still very good. Part of the problem I had with it was the English museum guard, who I've always found as funny as a broken leg. Her performance here enhanced that viewpoint. There were other problems, such as overdoing some of the already debatable attempts at humor. The idiotic, romantic caveman being an excellent example. The problems I had with the movie, however, were not enough to keep it from being highly enjoyable. Not memorable, but fun.

We saw it on the big screen and couldn't wait for it to come out on DVD. It had not been that long since we first saw it, but we laughed just as hard the second time around. Only down side is it did not come out in 3D. Robin Williams was excellent, as always. Hope this is not the last one, but can't imagine anyone else playing Teddy. Ben Stiller and the monkey are even funnier than the first movie. If you have even a minor addiction to any the the characters or actors in the movie, don't hesitate, you will be glad you can watch it at will.

A fun movie that followed logically from the first two movies and even improved on them! Rare for the third 'sequel' The effects were better than ever. The tie in to the British Museum improved the story by adding an entirely new set of characters and location. The 'father/son' part was more detailed than needed, but over all this is a 5 star movie. The fact that Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney star in the movie (becoming their final such performance), makes the movie much more special.

Epic series finale to a great saga

This epic series finale pays tribute to a Hollywood legend, Robin Williams. He was a great actor and a very funny man in his comedies. This time the tablet of Akhmanrah (Might be spelled wrong) has begun to decay and Larry Daley and his friends must unlock the secret of the tablet before it's too late. This marks the first and only time we see Hugh Jackman and Alice Eve in a Night At The Museum movie. If you loved the first two, you will love this final chapter of Night At The Museum.

Night at the museum secret of the tomb was a good entry into the overall series. Although I did not feel as if it was as good as the first two it was still a solid addition to the series. It is a good movie, but I felt at if in certain places they were trying to hard to push a particular emotion or laughter on to you. It didn't flow as good as the first two did. Never the less I really enjoyed this movie and thought that it was well worth my time and money.

This is the third installment in Night of the Museum. I find that this movie is a lot better than the second movie. The jokes are occasionally funny and at time mediocre. The acting is excellent and stays true to the story. It is a great tribute to Robin Williams. The movie does a great job returning back to the original and not leave you thinking that there will be another installment. Do I think its worth buying. No. Unless you enjoy the first 2 movies. It is however worth a rent.
