I love the Trans Siberian Orchestra, and had to have this CD. I just went to their winter show, and it was incredible, just their CD so do yourself a favor and buy it!

There are many excellent songs between the 2 CDs. As usual from TSO, the booklet inside the case with the story behind the music makes it more than just a listening experience.

CD arrived as scheduled. In time for Christmas. It was exactly as described.

This CD is among the very best I have ever heard! I LOVE TSO - so I was sure I would love this CD. I loved their other "non-Christmas" CD also. And of course, the Christmas CD's are great. I didn't know what to expect with Night Castle and it did not disappoint this listener! I have never heard the other bands ( Savatage etc,) so I can't compare the music, but it doesn't matter - this one is fantastic. Thanks to the wonderful musicians who created this musical journey - it's great! If you love TSO, buy this CD - you will NOT be sorry!!!

I was so happy to see the Night Castle was finally released by Trans Siberian Orchestra. The music on it is great. Unlike previous TSO cd's, there is not much of a Christmas theme with this one. If you are going to their live show, they play a few selections from the cd but do not do the complete set. Overall, the cd was worth the wait for any T.S.O. fan.

well' we all have been waiting many years for this cd to come out. as i said above this band would not ever be if it weren't for the one the only "JON OLIVA" the mountain king and of course "SAVATAGE" jon oliva's pain. what an amazing album !!! they are all great cd's. this time they put a little bit of "savatage tunes inside. AGONY & ECSTASY......

For a band mainly known for Christmas music, this album will not disappoint at all.. its the next big rock opera .. being the perfectionist TSO is they wanted to make sure everything was just right for this album and they hit it just right

This band is absolutely AWESOME! They give one heck of a show on stage, anyone who likes them should see them on tour. I saw them and now want to look into seeing them on their first non christmas tour because they are just great.

We have been wating for this album almost as long as we have been wating to find a McDonalds on mars. and i have to tell ya, i think i would get more use out of this than a McDonalds on mars any day! 2 cd's and a booklet with a price tag of 10 dollars! cant beat that at all!

I bought two of these CDs; One for myself and one for my Aunt. We both love it! Now we both want to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra in concert!

this is a must have if you seen them live trust me u as well as me were weighting for this one and trust me i love it was the first one to get it the day it came out played it 10 times lol

the only down side was having to wait 2+ years for the release. i enjoyed both discs from start to finish. this will also make new fans for TSO.

I've waited for years for this album to be released and am somewhat disappointed. I don't understand why, since this has taken so long, there is so much recycled material from previous Savatage and TSO albums. It's as if they ran short on new work and rummaged through the old trunk in the attic for filler material. Vocals on several numbers sound like a Broadway singer who's trying just a bit too hard to project, thus marring the effect of what would have been an emotional, stirring song. Those aside, I truly appreciate finally having Tracers on disc - it's one of my favorite concert numbers. Nutrocker does ELP proud with a crisp,bright touch with Greg Lake himself on bass! This album is a worthy effort by O'Neill & the TSO gang, I just wish they would have put a bit more effort into creating NEW material - just what WERE you folks doing all these years while we waited?! Buy it and, by all means, go see TSO live, as that version never fails to disappoint!

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra always produces a magnifident CD. This one is included. I enjoy the instrumentals, but it could use more of them and not as much vocals.

I put this cd on when I received it. I was doing chores around the house next thing you know the cd is over. this is a very good cd easy to listen to. there are rockers on this disc. there are your tpical TSO tunes also. sparks should be a good song live.

Got it for my son (age 15) for Christmas after seeing them in concert. He listens to it all the time.

C D sound quality is excellent, track mix is good. If your a t.s.o. fan, you should have this one.

Love the story line. What an awesome imagination with great music.

This collection has many songs that are a mix of music and sung by a great tenor, but TSO has shined on music that was once classical and they transform and bring to a more moder dimension, this collection is lacking precisely this, more modern touch.
