The Night Owl 16 channel system allowed me to use the already installed cameras and add up to an additional 8 cameras. The 1080 cameras are definitely an improvement over the old cameras, although not as sharp as others I've seen. They get the job done. Fairly easy to install and set up, the hardest part of the install is running wiring in the attic. The app was super easy to sync to the DVR and allows viewing of live and recorded material. By setting up the mobile app, you can easily view the live view and adjust the cameras as needed. I would definitely recommend this system to compliment a home alarm system.

Night Owl 16 Channel 8 Camera Package
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered these to replace my Night Owl Pro series setup. This package arrived in a plain brown box and not in a Night Owl box. I set it up. 3 cameras were pure white. 2 other cameras had lines running up and down them. I contacted Best Buy. They said they would send a replacement. Replacement package came in another brown box and not a Night Owl box. Will try the 2nd setup and see how it works.
