    don't waste your money

    I got this system, and its not what they say it is, all the the cameras i received are defective after waiting two weeks for order, whats the point of having cameras if you can't see at night, they say 100' night vision, all you see is black, and talk about the lowest grade hd period, piece of junk, have to spend four days disasembling the cameras so i can return them to best buy.

      Good Afternoon. I am very sorry to hear that you experienced difficulty with your Night Owl system. There are a number of factors that aid in determining the Night Vision distance you will receive with your camera. These factors include: 1) the amount of ambient light in the area the camera is located (more ambient lighting the better), 2) whether the camera is set on a fixed object (camera should not be pointing out into blankness but rather focused on something) and 3) the number of LEDs your camera has (the more LEDs the more Night Vision distance you will receive). The 720p HD cameras included with the system you purchased are capable of providing up to 100 ft of Night Vision under prime conditions. For any additional image issue your cameras were having, did you attempt to troubleshoot with our 24/7 technical support team? One of our technicians would have been happy to assist with maximizing your Night Vision distance and helping adjust your cameras. Again I apologize that the system did not work for you and that we were unable to help correct the problem with the technical support resources we have.
