I purchased this camera system for my home in 2017. There was no way I was prepared for what came soon after. Hurricanes Irma & Maria...these epic storms devastated our islands and left many homeless and others in complete disarray. I was not expecting to find much when I came out to look around after the storm. I was just grateful for life and no physical injuries to my kids or myself. We were without power, the roads were blocked and all communications were down. This went on for months, hence why my review is so late. I finally decided to try out my system after I cranked up my generator and I was pleased to find that all but two of my eight cameras were working. This meant that 100% of my existing system was up. See, the two that were gone were knocked off by a tree that fell on my house. This was rather impressive to me because I am sure that this system, like much else, was NOT rated to withstand over 200mph wind gusts. I say all of that to say this, this system worked well before the hurricanes even occurred and it still serves me now. The app has its glitches but I had no major issues with it. I am truly impressed that it withstood the elements on such a level. As such, if you are in the market for a reliable camera system, please trust my word and give Night Owl a try. You shouldn't be disappointed.

The cameras are truly a great Purchase. I still waiting for geek squad to put them up , they cancelled on me 6 times . They are supposedly coming out tomorrow, let's hope they show .

Easy to install, great quality and complete coverage for my Home. I really Love these Cameras.

The cameras and dvr are great. Cane with plenty of cable to reach all areas of my house. Though the dvr software works great, the mobile app needs a lot of improvement.

Easy to connect cameras but had some difficulty connecting to screen. Night owl customer service was great and solved my issue and it was very easy to set-up phone app.

We had been looking at security cameras for some time but in many cases the reviews turned us off. Finally decided we needed to get something and are so glad we decided on Nighthawk Owl. The cameras have surpassed what we expected. Even at night. With just a minimal amount of light and can see almost as clear as day. Also very easy to use. That along with Geek Squad install and we couldn't be more pleased with the product.

Cameras work great and are easy to setup. Would recommend this product to family and friends.

I have a lot of personal items that I would hate to lose so I was in need of a good photo security system. When I found this unit and learned how to use it I feel much more confident 2go out of town and be able to keep an eye on my property.

DO NOT BUY ANY NIGHT OWL PRODUCT! I have over a $1000 in a commercial Night Owl Camera security system. I purchased from Best Buy October of 2019! It took over 2 months to get it connected and up and running! I had to hire a local company to get it loaded and they also had issues!!! Night Owl tech support is none existent! When you actually get a warm body, you can’t understand them and their English is EXTREMELY lacking! I have an iPhone and the system will hardly ever load on my phone.... like it’s supposed to!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY NIGHT OWL PRODUCT!

Recorder was easy to set up for Internet viewing. Just download the app & scan the bar code on top of the recorder. That's it.

I needed a system to watch my personal property while I was away on vacation. I could view my property on my smart phone.

Overall the system is good for an entry level, do it yourself, no monthly fee system. The night vision isn't the greatest. The android app works pretty well, the apple app works sometimes. Customer support is horrible. Could not find a phone number to call, only an online application where a ticket is issued. Never got a response to my ticket. I had to figure out my problem myself.

Night vision is ok but not as good as I would have liked them to be.

Works well and the video is pretty clear. Had minor issues with the app but otherwise worth the money.
