When looking at the monitor the picture has good definition and the infrared light at night is great. I'm basically happy with this product and have no complaints about it's day time use. I do have a few suggestion. As a first time user in this field, I found the manuel lacking in details that I need to understand what it was talking about. On windy, rainy or snowy nights, should I expect the little symbol of human detection to show up, stay on and record all night long? If so, please mention that in the manual.

I've had this system for 4 years now and the notifications have worked maybe a total of 3 months. Customer service doesn't help either. I'm looking for a new system to replace this one. You can guarantee it won't be a Night Owl system!
