Atmospheric low-budget fantasy film
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Curtis Hanson's "Night Tide" pays off as a compelling supernatural fantasy film set around the boardwalk and pier of Santa Monica, California in the early 60's with Dennis Hopper portraying a young sailor on leave who becomes an infatuated with a dark-haired mysterious woman who works as a side show mermaid. The climax echos a Alfred Hitchcock-style ending. Recommended!
