Excellent movie from early in Sly Stallone's career. So glad to find this out on DVD, had been looking for many years,

This ShoutFactory blu ray release includes the original music during the club scene. Unfortunately, this is not the full original uncut bits that were removed due to violence. Synopsis: Sylvester Stallone and Rutger Hauer star in this riveting story of suspense and intrigue that starts in London, continues in Paris and reaches its chilling conclusion on the streets of New York.

Before Rambo cemented Stallone as an action star for generations he starred in this gritty street drame about a terrorist that comes to NYC to enhance his reputation. Bully Dee Williams also stars as Stallone's partner with Rutger Hauer pre Blade Runner as the villain. A product of its time that still hold up and is an interesting watch after all these years.

Pretty good thriller, Rutger Hauer makes his film debut as Wulfgar, international terrorist who comes to the states. Stallone and Billy Dee Williams are the police officers assigned to take him down. I love the stare down scene in the night club! I only wish this contained the cut footage ,particularly in the final confrontation.

I'm all about 80's films, ones that were actually written well and had the right actors/actresses for the job. This is one that you don't hear too many people talking about. It has one of my favorite actors in it (Rutger Hauer) from bladerunner, so you know I had to see it and buy it.

How can Sly Stallone fail to entertain us when he's got Billy Dee Williams by his side (he shoulda been the star..) & Rutger Hauer to defeat? A cop vs terrorist actioner that has slipped away from mainstream eyes is back from the fabulous folks at Shout Factory.

Great flick! Good Star Vehicle for Sly. the BluRay quality is excellent and the sound is exceptional. Great soundtrack. good flick.

This movie is a great watch from start to end. The disc was manufactured to show this movie in it's best possible light and it shows. Would highly recommend this movie.

One of the most underrated Sylvester Stallone films. Nighthawks is a thriller where NYC officers track down an international terrorist in their city.

One of Stallones rare gems, strong performances all around. A time capsule, showcasing NY like Death Wish, French Connection.

Excellent police thriller from the early 80's. Rutger Hauer makes such a good villain. Great visual upgrade from the DVD.

great movie from 1981 with Stallone as he was gaining respect through the country for the previous movies he did.. great for the collection..

This is a really fun movie in terms of thrills & chills. Stallone is great, Hauer is terrifying and Billy Dee Williams is awesome.

I remember seeing this year's ago when I was a kid. More for nostalgia for me but it is A pretty decent watch even today.

GREAT on blu ray and a movie that gets looked over. Stallone at his best. And you will recognize and love the bad guy!!

There are not many movies where Stallone can impersonate a woman and fool the bad guy. This is that movie.
