The original nightmare on elm st is way better +++

It's unfortunate because I was SO excited for this movie. As a huge fan of the Nightmare franchise, especially the original, I was definitely on the hype train. However, what became of this remake was something much less desirable. The dialogue is so poor to where a conversation goes something like this: "x person is dead.' ' I'm coming over.' Okay". Topple that with subpar acting and an extremely bizarre Freddy Krueger whose makeup and glove with confuse you more so than frighten you. This movie is one of those where you get it just to laugh at how bad it is rather than take it seriously. If you see this in a store, you're better off passing it and picking something else.

Dfferent and better than the original version. More modern and scarier. Not for young kids, though.

Just like the rest of the Nightmare on Elm Streets, it was scary and suspenseful.

This movie was at Best Buy for an awesome price. I purchased it for Halloween time and it was a great watch!
