This movie was okay, just picked it up to add to my horror / Freddy collection

Classic horror film. Great memories brought back. Brought a smile to my face

Despite the amazing portrayal of Freddy Krueger by Jackie Earle Haley, this was an abomination of a film. Stay away

Robert Englund is the best as Freddy Krueger! Why mess with a classic.

This movie is very different from its original counterpart. The premise is the same as we have Freddy who is still into his kids. Details of the new Freddy are found out as the movie progresses. Cinemetography wise, I feel that this movie is great. The Freddy sequences are really well done. I feel that Jackie Earle Haley voice is very put on. I feel that the original was more believable, though he does have his moments that are reminiscent of the original. The other actors aren't the most believable, and are sometimes a little irritating. The plot, for an updated movie, is good, and does capture your attention. Overall a decent remake.

Overall, great movie with great casting. Plot works and brutality is very strong here. Main flaw to the movie though is bad pacing and poor editing. Still is very enjoyable with great re-watch value.

This is a great film, surpasses the original, by far. jackie earle haley was amazing, creepy, and takes the role with amazing dedication and complete transformation. wish they gave oscars for horror movies, because haley was brilliant.

Great movie, scary, suspenseful, creepy, bloody, Freddy!!!! Great job by Jackie Earle Haley bringing back Freddy.

Plot was very good and freddy was very convincing.
