This is a fun game and I recommend it for everyone. Its fun and a lot cheaper on Wii than other version of it. Its 4.99 used at Best Buy and really you cannot beat that price. Its hours of fun.

Take Flight- Just Hurry Up & Finish Exploring

NiGHTS:Journey of Dreams is the sequel or reissue- of the Sega classic. One of those games that made you wish you had the other system. You enter the dream of either Will or Helen, two normal kids with a little bit of growing up to do. While in the dream you find that Nightopia, the world of dreams is in a bit of trouble. Seems Nightmarens are ambushing people and stealing thier Ideya. "Wait," you say "so nightmares are stealing ideas?" Uh yeah, pretty much. The writing isn't exactly the game's strong point. You fly through most stages zipping thru rings and collecting chips. As you progress, you'll unlock a couple of new forms, and items you collect during stages will make it's way to a customizable area that you can use to visit others on the web or who actually own NiGTHS. The description of the game's play is a little misleading. You do explore. Alot. You do fly. Most of the time. The flight portion of the game is generally timed. You're chasing down someone, or following an octopus that leaves rings for you to follow, or the occasional puzzle like boss fight. Not the free flowing exploration I was hoping for. The next big complaint, the lack of GOOD motion controls for the Wii version. You point on the screen where you want NiGHTS to fly. Good idea, but the execution is TERRIBLE. The cursor for motion control doesn't move along with your movements as crisply as I would like. Others may not have this complaint, but I liked the idea and am disappointed that it didn't work better. Oh well- traditional style controls are good. The overall package is good. Just a couple of dissapointments from a grouchy old gamer who's been itching for a crack at NiGHTS' unique gameplay. Please don't let a couple of dings turn you off it's still an excellent game. Also don't let the game's candy coating fool you. With a little practice the little ones will paralooping nightopians all over the place and really enjoying the playful nature of the game. But Dad's going to be sneaking in at night to get a few laps in trying to get an A ranking chasing those birds and perfecting his links chasing Octopaw. Be careful with the littlest ones. Although cartoony, some of the boss imagrey can be quite unsettling. Imagine the most evil clown possible. Make it cute...much cuter...having nightmares yet? Here's hoping for a Wii Shop update for Christmas NiGHTS!

This is pretty much the same as when it was on Sega. Good for kids ages maybe 8/9 and up (including adults). It is fun to play has moments where you get frustrated because you can't get past, but overall it is a great game

this is a rele fun game. I have the first nights ever made on sega staurn and have been a huge fan. I was estatic when it came out on wii. The only down fall is you might need to buy the Nights booklet to help you through a couple levels. I actually need to buy the book myself. The game though, is worth the money.
